General Ruling Questions

According to Clan Fight rules, 1 clan must be specified. While using “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze/Neon Gyze”, can I put of different clans into my G deck?

Yes, you can. Fighters who use “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze/Neon Gyze” in their deck are able to put any number of in their G deck.

While the different 《Zeroth Dragon》 are in my G deck, and “Neon Gyze” is in my main deck, must I use “Neon Gyze” as my first vanguard?

No, it does not need to be your first vanguard.

“Neon Gyze” is part of the main deck in the beginning, but is put into the G zone after riding.
Also, it becomes a G unit “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” after 【Ultimate Stride】.
Must I use the same sleeve as the main deck?
Or, if I choose to use it as my first vanguard, there is no need for it to use the same sleeve?

As it is “preparation before the game”, “Neon Gyze” needs to have the same sleeve as your main deck. You may not use sleeves different from your main deck, nor clear sleeves. However, as your G zone may have different sleeves as your main deck, the cardfight will proceed normally even though “Neon Gyze” is in your G zone with a different sleeve.

When “Neon Gyze” is put into my G zone, the number of cards in my G deck becomes 1 more than 16, and also has a normal unit in it. Will there be a problem according to the rules?

No, there isn’t.
While the maximum number of cards you can put into your G deck is 16, and it must include only G units, these conditions only need to be fulfilled for the “preparation before the game”. Therefore, after the game begins, even if the number of cards in your G zone exceed 16, and a normal unit exists in your G zone, the game will proceed normally.

Can I Ultimate Stride a 《Zeroth Dragon》 from a different nation on my grade 3 vanguard when I have “Neon Gyze” in my main deck?

No, you cannot. To Ultimate Stride a 《Zeroth Dragon》, the grade 3 vanguard must belong to the same nation.

Individual Ruling Questions

“Neon Gyze”

The condition “Released when your vanguard is grade 3 and you have five different types of in your bind zone!” has been met. Can I pay the cost to 【Ultimate Stride】 even if my opponent’s vanguard is grade 2 or less?

Yes, you can.
As long as the condition is fulfilled, even if your opponent’s vanguard is grade 2 or less, you may pay the cost of “[Discard a card with the same card name as your vanguard from your hand]” to 【Ultimate Stride】.

The “Neon Gyze” in my G zone was removed from game due to G assist. Will all subsequent power increase of the trigger effects be applied normally? Also, can the in the bind zone move to other zones?

Yes, when “Neon Gyze” is no longer in your G zone, all power increase of trigger effects will be applied normally. Also, the《Zeroth Dragon》 in your bind zone can be moved to other zones too.

Are the in the bind zone included when counting the number of cards in the bind zone?

Yes, they are.

“Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”

Using the “choose any circle other than (VC), and put all of the cards on that circle into the drop zone” ability of “Dragonic Overlord “The Destiny””, the rear-guard circle that a 《Zeroth Dragon》 is on was chosen. Can the on that rear-guard circle be put into the drop zone?

No, the 《Zeroth Dragon》 cannot be put into the drop zone by the effects of “Dragonic Overlord “The Destiny””. All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the specified abilities. Therefore, while the circle can be chosen, the 《Zeroth Dragon》are not affected, and cannot be put into the drop zone even by “Dragonic Overlord “The Destiny””.

A card locked by the effects of “Death Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Deluge” was unlocked. If that card has “Boost”, can it boost the《Zeroth Dragon》 in the front row?

Yes, it can. However, as 《Zeroth Dragon》cannot be affected by anything, its power will not be added.

Can “Freestyle Rider” be dealt damage by the automatic ability of “At the beginning of your turn” even though it has “Resist”?

Yes, it can.
As “Resist” only prevents the unit from being chosen by abilities that specify “choose”, it can be affected by effects of abilities that do not specify “choose”. Thus, as the ability of “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” states “deal one damage to your opponent’s vanguard”, “Freestyle Rider” will be dealt damage.

“Neon Gyze”

Will the “Neon Gyze” put into the G zone be regarded as a G unit?

No, it will not.
It will remain as a normal unit while it is put into the G zone too.

Though the “Neon Gyze” in the G zone cannot be included for G Break, can it be included in the “If the number of face up cards in your G zone is two or more” condition of “Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord “the Ace””?

Yes, it can be included in the “If the number of face up cards in your G zone is two or more” condition. Though G Break only counts the number of face up “G units” on your vanguard circle and in your G zone, the condition of “If the number of face up cards in your G zone is two or more” includes “face up cards in your G zone” that are not G units too. Thus, the “Neon Gyze” in your G zone can be included when counting the “number of face up cards in your G zone”.

The situation is that “Neon Gyze” is put into my G zone. Will the Power+5000 effect due to both triggers from “Drive Check” and “Damage Check” be changed to “Choose up to one from your G zone, and bind it face up”?

Yes, the Power+5000 effect due to the triggers in both situations will be changed.

Though it says “Released when your vanguard is grade 3 and you have five different types of in your bind zone!”, can I 【Ultimate Stride】 even if I have 6 types of in my bind zone?

Yes, you can.

While “Neon Gyze” is a rear-guard, and becomes locked, is it regarded as a normal locked card?

Yes, “Neon Gyze” will be regarded as a normal locked card.

The “Neon Gyze” in my G zone was turned face down by the effects of “Thunderbolt Shockwave Colossus”. Are the effects of the ability of “Neon Gyze” still present?

Yes, they are.
As it is not specified to be “If this card is face up”, the ability of “Neon Gyze” will be active even if it is turned face down.

I rode “Neon Gyze” on “Neon Gyze”, and then rode with a grade 1 unit. There are now two pieces of “Neon Gyze” in my G zone. Can I repeat the “Choose up to one from your G zone, and bind it face up” effect and bind two each time I get a trigger?

No, you cannot.
As the effect of “Choose up to one from your G zone, and bind it face up” is changed from the Power+5000 of the trigger, it is not a resolvable ability, and thus cannot be repeated.

“Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”

The cards in my G zone, circles, and soul were removed from play when I 【Ultimate Stride】 “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” from “Neon Gyze”.
In this case, does my G Break become 1?

Yes, your G Break will be 1.
As your G unit, “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” is the only card on your vanguard circle, your G Break will be 1.

I 【Ultimate Stride】 into “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” from cards like “Dragfall, Luard”. Does the condition of “When you 【Stride】” allow the abilities of cards like “Dragfall, Luard” to activate?

No, it does not.
For “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”, all of the cards except “Neon Gyze” in your G zone, circles, and soul are first removed from play before you 【Stride】 it on your vanguard circle. Thus, at the moment when “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” 【Stride】 on your vanguard circle, cards like “Dragfall, Luard” have already been removed from play, thus the automatic ability with the condition of “When you 【Stride】” cannot be activated.

What exactly does the state of “cannot be affected by anything” mean?

It is a state that prevents application of any abilities.
For “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”, “cannot be affected by anything” refers to not being affected by anything other than the continuous ability of itself, and the guardians of the fighter that the “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” belongs to. Also, including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”, all of the units cannot change in state, move to other areas, nor be used for cost. However, as things like comparison of power can be executed, they can be hit normally during battle.

Can I choose my opponent’s “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” or 《Zeroth Dragon》 with effects that allow me to choose? Also, can effects that do not specify “choose” be applied to “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” and the 《Zeroth Dragon》?

They can be chosen. However, effects cannot be applied to all units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” other than the specified abilities.

Can I apply the trigger effects revealed during “Drive Check” and “Damage Check” to “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” and the 《Zeroth Dragon》?

No, you cannot.
All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified. Thus, they will not be affected by trigger effects either.
(E.g.)

  • Power+5000 from the trigger effects cannot be applied to “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” nor 《Zeroth Dragon》.
  • cannot be 【Stand】 with the effects of stand trigger.
  • Critical+1 from critical triggers cannot be applied to the vanguard, “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”.

Can the rear-guard be retired for the cost of the “Ritual 3” ability of “Dragsaver, Esras”?

No, they cannot be retired. All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the specified abilities. Thus, even if the are chosen as cost, as they cannot be retired, the cost cannot be paid.

Can the effects of “Delete all of your opponent’s vanguards” delete “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”?

No, it cannot be deleted.
All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified. Thus, they cannot be affected by the “Delete” effects either.

Can the “Choose one of your opponent’s vanguards, and deal 1 damage” effect of “Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord “The Purge”” deal 1 damage to “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”?

No, it cannot be dealt 1 damage by effects.
All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified.

Can I choose and retire my opponent’s with the effects of “Flame Wing Steel Beast, Denial Griffin”?

No, you may not choose and retire.
All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified. Thus, the 《Zeroth Dragon》cannot be chosen and retired by the effect.

Can I dominate my opponent’s “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” to attack my opponent’s rear-guards, using “Evil-eye Hades Emperor, Shiranui “Mukuro””?

No, as you cannot dominate, you cannot attack either.
All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified. Thus, “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by the effect of “【Stand】 and dominate all of your opponent’s vanguards”, and “attack” cannot be executed.

Can I attack my opponent’s rear-guards and “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” vanguard with continuous abilities like “battles every unit in your opponent’s front row in one attack” of “Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion” and “this unit battles the both the vanguard and units on the chosen (R) in one attack” of “Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher “VMAX””?

No, as long as “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” exists, the rear-guards cannot be attacked.
Even if the effect is repeated somehow, as the negation effect takes priority, the rear-guards cannot be attacked due to effects such as those of “Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion” and “Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher “VMAX””.

The automatic ability of “Zeroth Dragon of Inferno, Drachma” has been resolved. Though the opponent’s units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be retired and bound, how will the effect of “your opponent chooses three cards from his or her hand, discards two cards from among them, and rides one card from among them on (V) as 【Stand】” be resolved?

The effect of “your opponent chooses three cards from his or her hand, discards two cards from among them” will be executed accordingly, but “rides one card from among them on (V) as 【Stand】” cannot be executed.
As long as “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” exists, riding and calling rear-guards other than cannot be performed.
The card that your opponent couldn’t ride will remain in his or her hand.

The automatic ability of “Zeroth Dragon of End of the World, Dust” has been resolved. How will the effects of “your opponent’s vanguards and rear-guards lose all of their abilities, and their grade and Power@ increase or decrease to 1” and “choose one of your opponent’s vanguards, and deal one damage” be resolved?

All units including “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” cannot be affected by anything other than the abilities specified. Thus, abilities will not be lost, grade and power will not be changed to 1, and the damage from this effect cannot be dealt.

“Calling” has been restricted due to the effects of “Lawless Mutant Deity, Obtirandus”. If “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” 【Ultimate Stride】 during this situation, how will the effect of “choose five from your bind zone, and call them to separate (R)” be resolved?

As the ability of “Lawless Mutant Deity, Obtirandus” is being applied, the cannot be called to the rear-guard circles. “Lawless Mutant Deity, Obtirandus” changes the rule effect of “calling” by restriction.
As the “cannot be affected by anything other than this card and your guardian” effect of “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” only applies to “all of your units”, it does not prevent effects that restrict the actions of fights nor abilities that change the fight rules, thus calling cannot be performed.

If a circle that a is on is specified for the “puts them on separate (R) as locked cards” effect of “Death Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Deluge”, how do we proceed?

Though “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” prevents calling and riding, as “puts them on separate (R) as locked cards” can be performed, the locked cards will be placed. Then, the Zeroth Dragons will be retired due to rule action, and return to the G zone face up as they are no longer units.

When my vanguard is “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze”, and effects like “your opponent cannot call specified guardian cards from hand to (G)” of “Silent Tom” and “Still Water Festival Deity, Ichikishima” are in effect, can I still call grade 0 guardians?

No, you cannot. The “cannot be affected by anything other than this card and your guardian” effect of “Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze” are only applied to “all of your units”. Thus, it does not prevent effects that restrict the actions of fights nor abilities that change the fight rules.
