In a Dark States arena, the captain of Team Diabolos suddenly stopped moving in the middle of their match, causing an uneasy buzz that ran through the crowd.
The highest-ranking agent of Brandt Gate’s Cosmo Security, who had never failed an arrest, went radio silent on their communications channels.
In the Lettia Great Canyon of Stoicheia, the Sylvan Horned Beast Emperor continued to face west without revealing its true form, and let out a tremendous roar that shook the forest. Before it, three new visitors approached.

At midnight, in late fall…
Nirvana appeared, as if the sun itself had fallen upon the earth.
The surrounding area grew brighter and warmer than a midsummer day.
In western Stoicheia, Zoa Caldera.
The caldera was an enormous crater that looked every bit as if the ground had been deformed by a spherical shockwave of unimaginable power. In truth, it was a remnant of a great war from long ago in Planet Cray’s history, known as the Second Dyad Deity War in ancient records, and the crater was said to have been made by a single dragon.
At the center of the caldera.
In the middle of that desolate landscape stood a single human and five dragons.
They were gathered around an egg – Sunrise Egg – and there floating above them was a mass of light powerful enough to overwhelm the isolated cradle with warmth.

Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana.
The ultimate form of the dragon foretold by legends who would bring hope back to the world.
The Sealed Blaze Maiden Bavsargra had the insight to summon Nirvana not in its standard Chakrabarthi dragon form, but in this specific state. In other words, to summon the “Core of Nirvana” itself.
In accordance with the legends passed down in Red Dawn Manor, since time immemorial…
The awakened form of Sunrise Egg, which will bring hope back to the world, is the “Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, Nirvana”. It had appeared in the town of Tu=rizen as a vision.
In the legend of Nirvana, the dragon has been allegorized to be the sun that shines upon Planet Cray, its moon, and the stars in its galaxy.
Scientifically speaking, the sun, and all stars in fact, act as their own source of fuel. Each of them is an enormous fusion reactor burning away in the center of their own solar systems. In other words, the stars consume themselves in order to provide the light, heat, gravity, solar winds, and all other forms of energy needed to turn the dark void of space into an environment that can support life and nature. If that is the “Hope” that the Red Dawn Manor, the Blaze Maidens, and their citizens pray for, then surely as the legends have it, Nirvana will shine upon the world as the “Sun of Hope”.
That is to say, the Core of Nirvana, is like a star—constantly consuming and replenishing itself as it provides limitless power to the world.
That is the true nature of Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana.

Halibadra was the first to speak. “So this is the ultimate form of that Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon… A warm light in this cold, desolate place.”
Namorkahr spoke up as well. “To think that we have the honor of being the first to ever see it. My body trembles with anticipation.”
“(Such is its infinite power that I can scarcely bear to look… But after all those years of suffering in the darkness of despair…)” Ulsalra added telepathically.
Shirunga muttered, “It’s so bright… Too bright. This will change the world. A new age is dawning…”
“…No. This is not it.”
The exhausted voice of the maiden pulled the brakes on the dragons’ rising spirits.
“Lady Bavsargra, what did you…?”
The dragons tried to question Lady Bavsargra, but she continued as if she hadn’t heard them at all.
“This is not its true awakening. There’s no way it can change the world… Why?! Why won’t it awaken?!”
“…!” Behind her, the Sealed Blaze Dragon, Arhinsa also let out a discontented cry.
“It’s not enough. There’s still something missing.”
Bavsargra spun towards the voice that whispered into her ears.
“Trickmoon! What do you know of this?!” Bavsargra growled at the newcomer.
“You jest. I am doing nothing but acting as you desired. Is that not so?” Trickmoon’s voice was as expressionless as the look on their face.
After rejoining the Sealed Blaze Dragons, Bavsargra had followed the instructions of Magnolia, the King of the Forest. She had stood in the middle of the Zoa Caldera and cast the spell she had painstakingly studied for years prior, the spell that was supposed to “bring forth a world where all are saved from despair”. Following Trickmoon’s guidance, the Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana did indeed appear before them.
Such a difficult spell had no chance of working without the perfect alignment of every factor involved—from the time and location, to the spellcaster, the incantation, and very state of the spellcaster’s heart. And by following every instruction to the letter, Bavsargra got her wish. The spell had worked. However—
“What are we missing…? —Aah!”
“The Chakrabarthi True Dragon, it’s disappearing…”
Trickmoon could not be perceived by the Sealed Blaze Dragons, through some means unknown to any present. Before the dragons had a chance to express any surprise at their master venting her anger at something unseen, the party’s attention was drawn towards the sun-like figure of the Chakrabarthi True Dragon as it began to disappear.
—Begin to disappear?
At that moment, Bavsargra was the only one to notice that what that unusual occurrence meant.
Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana, was not returning to its original Sunrise Egg form.
A spatial distortion had appeared behind it. As Mahar Nirvana’s light faded, it was being drawn into the distortion.
“Our hope may be lost forever!”
The Sealed Blaze Maiden acted before any of the dragons had time to react.
Bavsargra reached out to the Chakrabarthi True Dragon.
But her hand was repelled. It was almost as if she had been rejected.
Bavsargra immediately tore at her own head and tossed aside her black winged crown.
In her place appeared the figure of a human girl dressed in white, Rinolily.
Rinolily ran towards the spatial distortion that was drawing in the Chakrabarthi True Dragon, and, without hesitation, jumped into it. This time, there was no rejection from an unknown force.
Her abandoned crown flew upward, and as if following its owner, also threw itself into the distortion.
(This was likely the work of Trickmoon, who was invisible to the dragons.)
Just as the distortion appeared to be closing—
“Wait!”
Vairina shot through the skies from the east, like a streak of red lightning.
It wasn’t clear if any of the dragons had noticed.
The figure of Blaze Maiden Rino was clinging onto Vairina’s back as they sped towards Sunrise Egg, her fact taut with pure determination.
