Early Dyad Deity Era – The “Genesis Deity Messiah” and the Magic-Scientific Civilization

    中村聡

    ◆Dawn of a New Blessing

The Dyad Deity Era unfolded amidst despair. Resources were depleted beyond their limits, and the grandeur of Planet Cray’s scientific civilization declined so drastically that the population dwindled till the edge of suffering. Then time passed, until 3.5 billion years ago, a new hope was born on Planet Cray—the deity of harmony, “Genesis Deity Messiah”.

“Messiah” brought forth a new blessing to the world, reshaping its very structure. As a solution to the depletion of resources, “Magic” was bestowed upon Planet Cray. This gift marked the beginning of the gradual recovery of a planet teetering on the brink of collapse.

The influence of magic enveloped Planet Cray in a blanket of ethereal power. Races like Dragons, Angels, Demons, and Nobles, with their affinity for magic, reaped its bountiful benefits. As the enigmatic fusion of magic and science flourished into a new civilization, the global stage was set ablaze with a kaleidoscope of shifting powers.

And thus, embodying this epoch were the “Clans” that emerged one after another across the continents.

◆A Diverse Array of Clans Blossoming Across the World

    [Sanctuary Region]
    ●The Seers of Tomorrow
While knights brought upon a warring states period on the Sanctuary Region, seers converged within an arcane realm, delving into prophetic visions that ranged from weather forecasts to looming global crises. This group eventually evolved into the colossal information consultancy “Oracle Think Tank”.

    [Southern Region]
    ●Nova Grapple Group
In the Southern Region, the recovery of Planet Cray drew attention from beyond the star system, rekindling interactions and relations with extraterrestrial civilizations. Thereafter, this period also witnessed the inception of a sports event that continued to be a highlight of interstellar tourism, leading to the launch of “Nova Grappler”, a super mix martial arts group that utilized everything from weapons to magic and psychic abilities.

    [Dark Continent]
The region most blessed by magic was the Dark Continent, a nexus of both boon and bane. Due to the excessive concentration of contrasting mana, a miasma coalesced, corroding the unguarded health of its inhabitants. Here, where mana holds dominance over all life, aspirants to the title of “Demonic Lord” vied for supremacy.

    ●The Psychics of Darkness
Some of these Demonic Lords delved into forbidden magic. Their esoteric experiments and evolutions birthed numerous individuals with unique abilities. Eventually, shunned by their own kin, these exceptional beings formed an alliance under a certain Demonic Lord. They called themselves “Dark Irregulars”, and – with their overwhelming might – established a sanctuary for those facing similar circumstances.

    [Mega Archipelago Region]
    ●Sovereign of Sustenance
In the region abundant with nature, two clans emerged. One of them expanded into a global grain titan through the dramatic increase in harvest capabilities thanks to magical science— “Neo Nectar”. Later known for “ruling the kitchens of all nations”, it wielded immense influence over “Zoo”.

    ●The Discerners of Enlightenment
The other, a bastion of learning in magical science, attracted savants from across the globe—the prestigious university, “Great Nature”. Partnering with various nations for business collaborations, it nurtured industries and secured research funds; this animal clan played an undeniable role in the advancement of magical science.

    [Dragonia Continent]
●The Dragons of Heaven, Earth, and Darkness
With the disappearance of the “Primo Genesis Dragon” deity, the six Progenitor Dragons underwent a rebirth, sparking a divergence in dragons and spawning a variety of new breeds like the Flame Dragons. This period also saw the establishment of the “Red Dawn Manor”, a sanctuary where “a Dragon egg imbued with the might of the sun” was enshrined and worshipped.

In the militaristic juggernaut “Dragonia”, three military factions rose simultaneously as clans and contended for supremacy. “Kagero”, with Flame Dragons at the heart of the clan, claimed dominion over the deserts and plains. “Tachikaze”, comprising Dinodragons and their brethren, carved its rule in the earthy lands and lush jungles. And “Nubatama”, headed by Abyss Dragons and those of Stealth, fully presided over the night.

After tumultuous conflicts, the three clans eventually reached an accord. The first Emperor was chosen from “Kagero”, thus birthing the immortal military empire “Dragon Empire”.

Subsequently, with its territorial conquest, the empire’s influence hit its zenith. In this process, there were formidable dragons that refused to subjugate to their rule; these dragons were ensnared and imprisoned with layers of seals within the legendary incarceration facility known as “Magna Prison”. An alternate legend surrounding the prison’s origin suggests that “a mighty dragon sealed itself alongside its distinguished kin in order to prepare for an impending world crisis”.

    [The Seas]
    ●The Undying Dead
Lastly, let’s cast our gaze to the remaining expanse of the vast seas. The advancement of magic fostered diverse industries and accumulated much wealth but also saw the rising of an international criminal syndicate based in the maritime regions. The undead, transcending the laws of life and death, congregated in the pirate crew “Granblue”.

    ●Absolute Justice
This pirate crew, unbound by the fear of hunger, thirst, or death, cast a dark shadow of malevolence upon the seas. To counter this threat, the nautical states unified and founded the maritime nation “Magallanica”. And thusly, the naval army “Aqua Force” was established with the prestige of the new nation on its shoulders and an ironclad dedication to absolute justice.

Even in this period, strife devastated all regions and blood was often spilled. Yet, all of that was also the very surge of vibrant life that overcame the tribulations brought upon by the depletion of resources. The colorful array of clans breathed new life everywhere, and people’s eyes were on the future amidst the evanescent tranquility that enfolded Planet Cray. This defined the early part of the Dyad Deity Era.

Alas, the fleeting peace was not to last.

The next chapter will star the greatest catastrophe in Planet Cray’s history—the “Destruction Deity Gyze”.
