Domination and Destruction approach

D-SS09/D-SS10

Shiranui and Luard make their return to the Standard format in the form of constructed decksets!
Dominate your opponents with Shiranui and rend destruction with Luard!

Dominate and Ritual

The Shiranui deck revolves around the usage of Dominate, which is an ability that allows you to attack your opponent using their units! Utilize this ability to clear your opponent’s board and attack them multiple times with not only your own units, but their units too!

In Stride Deckset -Shiranui-, the main units that hold this ability are [Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Oboro”], [Evil-eye Hades Emperor, Shiranui “Oboro”], and [Enma Stealth Dragon, Maguntenbu]!

On the other hand, the Luard deck revolves around the Ritual ability, which grants various effects or actions when the number of grade 1 cards in your drop zone meets the required quantity stated in the ability! Use this ability to get effects like calling cards from deck or drop, getting a huge amount of Power, Counter-Charge, and more!

In Stride Deckset -Luard-, the Ritual ability can be found among the majority of the cards in said set. The main units that hold this ability are [Dragheart, Luard], [Luminosity Wizard], [Dragstrider, Luard], [Dragdriver, Luard], and more!

Check out the featured cards below!

Demon Stealth Dragon,
Shiranui “Oboro”

Dragheart, Luard

[Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Oboro”] and [Dragheart, Luard], as the main stars of the decksets, return as Encounter cards, featuring new illustrations with the same abilities as previous versions! Veteran cardfighters will be able to play older versions of both cards from the G series in Standard as they are!

Crest

Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Oboro”

Dragheart, Luard

One of the newest additions in the Stride Decksets are the crests for Shiranui and Luard!
These cards allow one to play the powerful Stride ability with extra abilities and effects! With their respective crests in play, both units will grant extra power to front row units for each face up card in the G Zone when they meet the conditions!

For Shiranui players, both dominated units and your opponent’s units placed by your card’s abilities lose all of their continuous and automatic abilities and gain additional Power!

For Luard players, you’ll be able to return a trigger to the deck from drop!

Special Series 09: Stride Deckset -Shiranui-

G Units

Evil-eye Hades Emperor,
Shiranui “Mukuro”

Emma Stealth Dragon,
Maguntenbu

A core part of Stride is G units! These are special units that are gathered in the G zone, and consist of two types: G Units for Striding, and G Guardians for defending!

In Stride Deckset -Shiranui-, two familiar units make their reappearance! Similar to [Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Oboro”], these units feature new illustrations, but with updated abilities!

For Shiranui “Mukuro”, you can Dominate not only your opponent’s rear-guards, but their vanguards too! The cost of the Stride ability has also been updated to discarding a grade 3 “Demon Stealth Dragon, Shiranui” card!

Worthy Mentions
Stealth Dragon, Sekiei

The newest addition to the Shiranui lineup, Sekiei thrives on the battlefield, dealing more attacks to your opponents!

You can stand Sekiei once more if a dominated unit has attacked this turn! With two or more face up cards in the G zone, you get an extra draw and a big boost in Power!

Special Series 10: Stride Deckset -Luard-

G Units

Dragstrider, Luard

Dragdriver, Luard

Familiar G units return as well in Stride Deckset -Luard- with new illustrations and updated abilities!

Worthy Mentions
Luminosity Wizard

A brand new unit that makes its debut in Stride Deckset -Luard-!
It gains a huge Power increase when it is called to the rear-guard circle while you are at Generation Break 1 and with Ritual 3 active.

Luminosity Wizard also lets you Soul-Charge and have your vanguard get a Power increase when it is retired during your turn, making a usually disadvantageous loss of unit into a positive strategic move!
