As the vanguard that commands many units, a new possibility has been added for you!
And that possibility is the Order Card!
“Orders” can refer to a wide range of directives, such as the use of a strategy, a magic, or an item.

Cards that you prepare apart from your deck

Token A pseudo-card unit
Ticket NEW! A pseudo-card Order
Gift Marker A marker that shows the results of resolving an Imaginary Gift
Astral Marker A marker that represents the Astral Circle

(1) Prepare the “Quick Shield Ticket” separately from your main deck before the game begins!
(2) When you ride, if your opponent’s vanguard is grade 1 or greater, you acquire a “Quick Shield Ticket”!
(3) Quick Shields give the unit +5000 power when used to guard!

 

※The card disappears after being played, in a similar fashion to Tokens and Protect Markers. You can also discard it as the cost of an effect, or remove it from your hand for G Assist!

 


 

Quick Shield can be used in official tournaments from 8th May 2020 onwards!
In addition to that, all of the V series first vanguards are powered up as well! Let’s cardfight with the new text!

■Questions regarding Order Cards


How many Order Cards can be included in the main deck? Also, how many copies of Order Cards with the same card name can be included?

There is no limit. You may have as many as you can include within the 50 cards of the main deck.
Similarly to units, you can include up to 4 cards with the same card name.


Can you ride an Order Card? Also, can you call it to a rear-guard circle?

You cannot normal ride nor normal call it. If you superior ride it or superior call it, it will be put into the drop zone

If I have a grade 1 vanguard, a grade 2 Order Card in my hand, and no grade 2 unit cards, can I perform G assist?

Yes, you can.


What happens if an Order Card is put into the damage zone or soul?

No special resolutions take place, it will remain where it is.


When an effect references the grade of cards in the deck (such as putting a card in your hand), can the Order Card be referenced?

As long as it doesn’t specify unit cards, Order Cards can be referenced.


What happens if it is “put as a locked card”?

That circle becomes a lock circle, and when it is unlocked, that Order Card is put into the drop zone as a rule action. (Updated 7th April 2020)


If it is superior called to a circle with a unit by an effect, what happens to the unit that was originally on that circle?

It will remain there. The Order Card will be put into the drop zone.


An Order Card was put into the drop zone by the effect of V-EB04/003 “School Hunter, Leo-pald” when it is placed. How will the ability of “School Hunter, Leo-pald” be resolved?

As the card put into the drop zone is neither a normal unit nor a trigger unit, nothing will occur.


While resolving the effect of V-EB10/004 “Liberator of the Flute, Escrad” when it is placed, if the top card of the deck is an Order Card, what happens to that card?

Put that Order Card into the drop zone.


Can it be used for the cost of Stride?

Yes, it can.


If my opponent chooses an Order Card for the effect of G-BT14/011「Blazing Demonic Stealth Dragon, Shiranui “Zanki”」, how will the ability be resolved?

When it would be superior called, the Order Card is not called, and is put directly into the drop zone instead.


 

■Questions regarding Quick Shield


Can I use the same sleeves as my main deck for Quick Shields as my main deck’s sleeves?

No, you cannot. It needs to be differentiated from the main deck.
However, you may use it without any sleeve.


Can I use the same sleeve for Quick Shields as the sleeves of my Imaginary Gifts and G units?

Yes, you can.
However, when used in conjunction with Imaginary Gift:Protect I, please ensure that it is clear to your opponent which cards are Gift Markers and which are Quick Shields.


Can I use a proxy card for Quick Shields?

Please use the official “Quick Shield” cards sold or released for official tournaments.


What is a Quick Shield’s clan?

By the rules, “Quick Shields” belong to all nations and clans.


What happens if a Quick Shield is put into the damage zone?

The “Quick Shield” will be removed right after being put.


What happens if a Quick Shield is put into the soul?

The “Quick Shield” will be removed right after being put.


What happens if a Quick Shield is bound?

The “Quick Shield” will be removed right after being put into the bind zone.


Are Quick Shields counted when counting the number of cards in hand?

Yes, they are. They can also be used for costs.


Can a Quick Shield be used simultaneously as calling a guardian?

No, it cannot, but it can be used at the same timing as calling guardians and intercepting.


Are Quick Shields counted when counting the number of guardians?

No, they are not. “Quick Shields” are Order cards, not guardians.


When abilities such as “cannot call grade 0 guardians” are in effect, can “Quick Shields” be used?

Yes, it can. “Quick Shields” are Order cards, not guardians.


If I have multiple “Quick Shields”, can I use multiple of them in the same turn?

No, you cannot. Only one Order Card can be used each turn.
