We’re hyped for the three brand new Trial Decks coming up in October and here’s why you should too!

Trial Decks 01, 02, and 03 is a series of new Cardfight!! Vanguard Trial Decks featuring units used by new characters from CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress animation that is currently on air. All three Trial Decks will be released simultaneously on October 7th!

There are a few things that set these three Trial Decks apart from our usual specifications, and you definitely would not want to miss out on them!

  • Tutorial cards
    Alternate versions of cards with explanations rule explanations instead of card abilities will be included, making it perfect for learning and teaching!

  • Normal version Tutorial version

  • Expansion Pack
    Each Trial Deck comes with a 12-card Expansion Pack (7 types of cards) which includes tutorial cards with added abilities, including those used in the Ride Line! In addition, 1 Parallel Foil card will also be included in each Expansion Pack!

  • Convenient packaging that can also be used as a deck holder
    Your brand new cards can be stored immediately with the Trial Deck’s packaging, which can be used as a deck holder too! Each deck holder is capable of holding up to 50 sleeved cards.

  • Bonus PR Card
    Limited to the first print of these Trial Decks, there will be the bonus PR card, “Elementaria Sanctitude”, which will be included as a box topper!

    A new type of sentinel in the form of a Blitz Order card!

    At first glance, this may seem similar to the regular sentinel units, where you can use this card to perform a perfect guard at the cost of discarding a card.

    However, if your opponent’s vanguard has triple drive, you can perform the same effect at no cost!

Lianorn is a charismatic bandmaster that reaches its peak performance when boosted by three or more back row units, a special feature unique to this deck (as a boost unit typically can only boost the unit in front of it)! In addition, it gets triple drive and additional power from its abilities!

The performance does not end here; you can restand two back row rear-guards of your choice at the end of that battle too!


Trial Deck 02: Michiru Hazama -Demonic Jewel Dragon of the Four Flames-

With Drajeweled on the field, resistance is futile!

You will need to pay the cost of Soul-Blast 4 for cards of different grades to pull off its vanguard ability, but the destruction this Abyss Dragon can cause is well worth it!

Your opponent’s vanguard can be weakened to 1 Power, and if this vanguard is grade 3 or greater, Drajeweled can gain an additional critical when it attacks!

Youthberk “Protofall Arms” is capable of performing RevolDress, a new special ability which you can use to transform this unit into its cool berserker form, “RevolForm: Zest” after it attacks!

As “RevolForm: Zest”, Youthberk becomes immensely powerful and capable of delivering another power-packed blow!
