A Trip to the Vanguard Café!

Hello everybody, hope you guys are having a great Friday!

If you can recall, a while back, we posted some pictures of the Vanguard Café in Malaysia on our official Twitter account to an enthusiastic response. For those who are curious about what the Vanguard Café is about, you are in for a treat today!

After hearing so much about the Vanguard Café, we decided to embark on this little trip to check it out last weekend.

A huge wall filled with our favorite Team TRY3, together with Kouji Ibuki and Rummy Labyrinth greets you as soon as you step into the café! ╭(◔ ◡ ◔)/

Doesn’t it seem as though they’re saying “Cardfight with us!” when you look at them? (~^.^)~

 

What’s more, Cardfighting is really possible in the café with these awesome tables.

After we spent some time choosing what to eat, we had some fun picking a table to sit at, since we wanted a placemat with our favorite characters.

Look! Here’s a table for a pair of best friends with Rummy Labyrinth placemats.

 

While waiting, diners can also watch the Cardfight!! Vanguard animation airing on the big screen present in the café.

 

Our drinks were served first and I had the Toshiki Refresh! The name was pretty apt too since the first thing I thought of after a sip was how refreshing it was. We also had the Team TRY3 Chocolate Fighter as well!

 

The food arrived soon after and look at how huge the burgers are! There’s also this cool symbol made from seaweed at the corner of the serving plate. I ordered the Abyss Healer while the rest ordered the Wyvern Guard and Pure Keeper. Each burger comes with a side of nachos too!

 

The burger turned out to be really satisfying due to the huge portion and a delightful combination of chicken patty, toasted seaweed and pineapple. The rest of our group also gave positive reviews about their burgers.

Of course, even with stuffed tummies, we couldn’t forget about dessert. This massive dessert is named Demon Eater with a thick green tea toast and a dollop of ice cream. We even had waffles to share!

 

After such a full meal, we walked around and discovered more Cardfight!! Vanguard related décor. Here are some pictures to share with you guys:

Time flies when you are having fun and soon it was time to leave. Instead of the excited chatter that marked our entrance, we left with slightly heavier footsteps, vowing to come back again sometime soon.
