Regarding the December 2025 Deck Construction Rules Update
This update to the Cardfight!! Vanguard Fighter’s Rules mainly makes use of the results of various Bushiroad Championship Series 25/26 (BCS 25/26) Regional Qualifier events.
Premium Format
While we have observed a large variety of decks being used in the BCS 25/26 Regional Qualifier events, there are certain decks with higher usage rates that have also shown results in terms of progression and win rate.
With that in mind, we will be implementing the following restrictions:
Nova Grappler
・Restricted to 1: Screamin’ and Dancin’ Announcer, Shout (V-EB06/037EN)
Granblue
・Restricted: Skeleton Sea Navigator (V-BT09/089EN, D-VS04/068EN)
In addition to the decks that use the above cards, we have taken note of other decks that had either significant usage rates or performance, but comparatively lesser performance or lower usage rates.
For example,
・ While decks that use Knight of Slash Sins, Nehalenia (D-BT12/029EN, D-BT12/FR25EN) have shown results, their usage rate is low in comparison to the other decks under consideration.
・ While decks that use Temerarious Cataclysmic Rogue, Hellhard Eight (G-FC04/015EN, V-SS09/100EN) have a significant usage rate, they have not shown the same level of results as the other decks under consideration.
We will continue to monitor the performance of these decks in BCS 25/26 Regional Qualifier events in preparation for an update before the BCS 25/26 World Finals.
