Deck Construction Rules

Regarding Tournament Regulations
Official and sanctioned tournaments may use Standard, V Premium, or Premium deck construction regulations. The cards allowed for each regulation are different.

Standard
Standard – Nation Fight

• English edition cards sold or distributed with the icon on the bottom left corner can be used.
• Choose a nation, and construct your deck with only cards from that nation.
• Your deck consists of a 5-card ride deck and a 50-card main deck. Please refer, here for detailed rules regarding the ride deck. ※1, ※2
 The Fighter’s Rules may have other restrictions in place on the usage of cards.
• You must include a total of exactly 16 triggers in total between your main deck and ride deck.
• You can include up to 1 over trigger, up to 4 heal triggers, and up to 8 each for critical triggers, draw triggers, and front triggers.

※2 When certain cards are used, fighters can use a G deck.

 They are regarded as cards with the same abilities as cards with the same name and the “D” icon.

V Premium – Clan Fight

• Choose a clan, and construct your deck with only cards from that clan.
• English edition cards sold or distributed with the [V] icon on the bottom left corner can be used.
• Ride decks cannot be used.

Special Rules
Deck Construction for V Premium – Clan Fight

• Fighters that choose «Link Joker» may include cards with “Я” in their card name in their deck, even if those cards are from a different clan.
• For fighters who choose «Link Joker», all cards with “Я” in their card name in that fighter’s deck that are from a different clan lose all of their original text and icons. (They lose their skill icons, gift icons, and trigger icons)
• The following cards can be used in decks of any clan for V Premium.

Premium
Premium – Clan Fight


• All English edition cards sold or distributed can be used.
• Choose a clan, and construct a deck with only cards from that clan.
• If nation cards are used, they must correspond to the appropriate nation that the clan belongs to. Click here for more details on Premium format deck construction for overDress and onwards.

Premium – Extreme Fight


• You may mix cards from different clans and nations when constructing a deck.
• All English edition cards sold or distributed can be used.
• Ride decks cannot be used.
• The trigger effect will be activated even if “the vanguard circle or the rear-guard circle has a unit of the same clan as the unit in the trigger zone” is not met.

Special Rules
Deck Construction for Premium – Clan Fight

• Fighters that choose «Royal Paladin» may include up to 4 copies of “Blaster Dark” in their deck.
• Fighters that choose «Link Joker» may include cards with “Я” in their card name in their deck, even if those cards are from a different clan.
• For fighters who choose «Link Joker», all cards with “Я” in their card name in that fighter’s deck that are from a different clan lose all of their original text and icons. (They lose their skill icons, gift icons, and trigger icons)
• Fighters that include “Neon Gyze” in their main deck may include any <Zeroth Dragon > card in their G deck, regardless of the clan they chose.
