New Additions and Reprints!

Spiritual King of Ignition, Valnout, and Evergreen Transphere

Gain access to two new OverTriggers in your deck! When revealed during your drive check, Valnout can confer one of your Stand rear-guards the ability to Stand again after it attacks! If you did not choose a card, you draw a card and call a card from hand to the field instead! Enable your allies to attack once more and completely overwhelm your opponent!

On the other hand, Idosfaro returns a card from drop to your hand and gives a Critical to one of your units when drive checked; its purpose as an additional Critical trigger and utility to grab Perfect Guards or key pieces is quite valuable in certain decks.

We’re also introducing new Regalis Pieces in this set! Forbidoll Surrogate is a Normal Order that searches your deck or drop for two unique grade 3 or 4 unit cards, before calling the grade 3s to the field and adding the grade 4s to your hand! Players relying on the grade 4s introduced in DBT04 and DLBT02 will have an easier time setting up for their turn 4 plays! Of course, you could also use this to freely call down more grade 3 allies for instantaneous pressure!

There’s also Evergreen Transphere, a Blitz Order that gives a unit +25 000 Power for the battle and confers your vanguard the ability to reduce the Critical of your opponent’s units with 100 Million Power! Apart from being a rock-solid defensive option, its potential to weaken the offensive impact of OverTriggers can be the important X-factor to survive your opponent’s turn before turning the tides!

Demonic Lord of Hades Blaze, Baphormedes, Quaking Ripple Monster, Eledglema, and Relation Weaver, Petralka

Some unique standalone boss units are finally making their debut in the English Standard format! ‘Demonic Lord of Hades Blaze, Baphormedes’ is a intimidating vanguard that gains insidious strength as you accumulate more grade 3 cards in your soul: it confers Shield and boosting capabilities to your grade 3 units, and has a potent guard restrict effect to decimate defenses! There’s also ‘Quaking Ripple Monster, Eledglema’, which accumulates (and activates) set orders from your deck into your order zone, before sending them back to deck to launch a barrage of attacks on your opponent! Lastly, ‘Relation Weaver, Petralka’ reintroduces the concept of Highlander to Lyrical Monasterio – if you reveal seven unique cards from your deck after it attacked, you can either call one of the revealed cards to the field or ride a Petralka from among them for another vanguard swing! Incorporating these cards into your deck will surely guarantee fun for everyone!

Holy Egg Festival Praxis Committee Chief, Clarissa, Earnescorrect Follower, Neccela, and Earnescorrect Follower, Payton

Clarissa returns to the stage with new allies in ‘Earnescorrect Follower, Neccela’ and ‘Earnescorrect Follower, Payton’! ‘Holy Egg Festival Praxis Committee Chief, Clarissa’ can reliably add the key order ‘Aim to be the Strongest Idol’ from deck or drop, while also drawing two cards and buffing all Earnescorrect allies when its attack hits! Neccala helps the deck to reach a maximum five attacks alongside Katalyn, while Payton grabs your key Earnescorrect pieces in drop back to hand when discarded from hand!

Like before, Clarissa aims to decimate the enemy board with its multi-targeting vanguard swing, before benefitting from its on-hit ability! Clarissa shines well against rear-guard reliant decks that can’t protect their allies adequately, though the deck’s effectiveness is also determined by how well it can surround itself with allies As such, players need to be careful in committing their board in such matchups and maintain card advantage early into the game!

Holy-angel of Blessings, Alestiel
Enfolding Fondness, Elyliel
Together with You, Serafiel

Holy-angel of Blessings, Alestiel, and Enfolding Fondness, Elyliel, Together with You, Serafiel

Spread kindness and blessings to everyone with ‘Holy-angel of Blessings, Alestiel’! Like its original counterpart, this card adds a card from your bind zone to your hand and binds the top card of your deck at the start of your main phase; then, gain access to Alestiel’s Black Wings/White Wings abilities based on your card grades in the bind zone! If Black Wings is active, you can call a card with Black Wings from your deck to the field during your main phase! Important cards like Phenael and Emmael become even more accessible throughout the fight! If White Wings is active, you can ride the original ‘Archangel of Twin Wings, Alestiel’ from your deck or hand for another vanguard swing! (You can also access that card’s Twin Wings abilities!)

‘Enfolding Fondness, Elyliel’ and ‘Together with You, Serafiel’ are great cards supporting this new Alestiel! Elytiel has the similar ability to add a card from your bind zone to hand and bind the top card of your deck; its Black Wings ability also reduces the Power of an attacking unit when put on the guardian circle! On the other hand, Serafiel can recycle a grade 3 Alestiel in your drop back to deck to set up Alestiel’s superior ride! Its White Wings ability allows it to Stand again on a back row rear-guard circle when your Alestiel vanguard is ridden during your battle phase, serving as a competent booster to commit trigger Power to!

Alestiel’s identity as a combo deck with toolboxing capabilities continues to shine in this set! As usual, ‘Incessant Vocal, Elkel’ remains a key card that can elevate the gameplay of the deck to the next level. As such, running consistency tools like Emmael, Phenael and Elytiel remain crucial. A well set-up combo is sure to obliterate any opponent, especially with high Critical counts and enemy Power reductions!

Deck List for ‘Sing with Me, Loronerol’’

Sing with Me, Loronerol
Clear Stream, Marilou
Coiling Parade, Shibanu

Sing with Me, Loronerol, and Clear Stream, Marilou, Coiling Parade, Shibanu

Make your new melody known with the new ‘Sing with Me, Loronerol’! When ridden, this card calls a grade 3 or less unit from the top five cards of your deck to the field! Loronerol’s identity as a prominent singer is put on full display in its second ability: upon attacking, you can sing a face up Song in your order zone (activate the Song’s ability and turn the face up Song face down), and Soul-Blast a grade 3 Loronerol to give your vanguard and extra drive and sentinel restrict!

The backup singers to Loronerol prove to be reliable allies! ‘Clear Stream, Marilou’ serves as a strong attacker that also tutors a Song from your deck and sets up your soul with grade 3 Loronerol cards, whereas ‘Coiling Parade, Shibanu’ can potentially add two unique grade 3 Loronerol from the top five cards of your deck to hand! (Should its ability fail, you still draw a card!)

Overall, Loronerol’s gameplay remains as straightforward as ever: sing as many Songs as possible to maximize the impact of ‘Six-Flower Fractale’ in enabling multi-attacks and powering up your vanguard swing! One of the benefits of this deck is the flexibility of using both grade 3 Loronerol forms, allowing you to ride into either of them depending on the situation!

‘Festimagica, Wilistal
‘Full Marks for Exhilarating Energy, Trixie
Crossing Illumirays

‘Festimagica, Wilistal, and ‘Full Marks for Exhilarating Energy, Trixie, Crossing Illumirays

It’s time to pop off with the exuberant ‘Festimagica, Wilista’! When ridden, you can discard a card from hand to add a Gem from soul or drop to hand to set up plays for that turn! You can even activate Valshelan’s cycle ability from this to maintain card advantage! Wilista’s second ability is reminiscent of its original form: Soul-Blast a Gem to perform an effect depending on which Gem was Soul-Blast. If ‘Everlasting Sapphire’ was Soul-Blast, you call two unit cards from the top five cards of your deck to the field! If ‘Truehearted Ruby’ was Soul-Blast, Wilista gains massive Power!

The new Gem ‘Crossing Illumirays’ is a gamechanger for the deck! This card is considered as both ‘Truehearted Ruby’ and ‘Everlasting Sapphire’, enabling the new Wilista to activate both effects of its second ability just by Soul-Blasting this Gem! When played, Crossing Illumirays draws a card and gives your vanguard extra Power! If your opponent’s vanguard is grade 3 or greater, it also confers your vanguard the ability to Stand another ally again! There’s also Trixie, which serves as a strong attacker that also potentially searches out unique grade 3 Wilistas from the top five cards of your deck! (Like Shibanu for Loronerol, it draws a card should its effect fail.)

With these new cards, Wilista has established itself as a strong contender in the Standard format! High-powered columns, consistency in finding key pieces and card draw allow the deck to shine greatly! The deck’s capability to run staple Lyrical Monasterio generics like Yuika and Valshelan further elevates its potential!

Rondo of Plenilune, Feltyrosa
Traumerei of Grazing Hands, Roswitha
Night Sky Searing Divertimento, Ortrud

Rondo of Plenilune, Feltyrosa, Traumerei of Grazing Hands, Roswitha, and Night Sky Searing Divertimento, Ortrud

The spotlight shines upon the elegant ‘Rondo of Plenilune, Feltyrosa’! This vanguard confers your front row <Ghost> units extra Power, and gains the ability to call a <Ghost> normal unit or a grade 3 ‘Feltyrosa’ revealed during your drive check (while gaining more drives as well!) There’s also ‘Traumerei of Grazing Hands, Roswitha’ and ‘Night Sky Searing Divertimento, Ortrud’, serving as the ensemble cast for the deck! Roswitha’s an attacker that can reuse boosters, while Ortrud can send a boosted rear-guard to soul for card draw! Their capabilities to open up rear-guard circles for Feltyrosa’s superior calls is much appreciated.

Like Loronerol, Feltyrosa’s game plan remains largely the same – after attacking with your <Ghost> allies, send them back to deck to free up board space for Feltyrosa to call more allies when it attacks! Feltyrosa is also similar to Bastion in that checking non-triggers during your drive checks only serves to further increase your offensive output.

Let’s take a look as some of the generic options and supporting cast for other Lyrical Monasterio decks! Valsheblan is the nation’s version of cycle cards introduced in DBT10: by discarding it during your ride phase, you can Soul-Blast 1 and return it to the bottom of your deck to draw a card! Its second ability is also quite potent: when placed during a turn where persona ride is active, it confers your vanguard the ability to give all front row units extra Power! There’s also Lalpacana, which bounces two rear-guards to your hand and gains Power when it attacks on a turn that you persona rode! Crokel is a consistency option for the DressUp decks introduced in this set, adding a card with the DressUp ability from the top seven cards of your deck to your hand!

Kyouka and Luticia players gain a useful booster that Soul-Charges in Aynia, while Fortia and Mediell players get a booster that further strengthens other allies that also enables the Friends status!
