Fighters Rules Update
Dear Cardfighters, the latest Cardfight!! Vanguard Fighter’s Rules has been updated, and these rules will be effective from November 17th, 2023.
■ Standard
Restricted to 1:
Scarlet Flame Bow General, Stirgna (D-BT10/059EN)
Choice Restriction:
Tranquil Affection, Elivira (D-LBT01/018EN, D-LBT01/018EN)&What Color is your Wish, Valsheblan (D-SS05/016EN, D-SS05/FFR12EN)
Scarlet Flame Marshal Dragon, Gandeeva and Festimagica, Wilista decks were a known quantity going into the Bushiroad Championship Series 2023, and they currently make up half of the decks in consideration for Top 8 cutoffs. As both decks have put up consistent results across the board with high conversion rates, we will be imposing restrictions on them.

Fountain of Knowledge, Eva (D-BT05/009EN, D-BT05/SP09EN, BSF2023/VGD03EN)&Combine Rusher (D-BT06/008EN, D-BT06/FFR08EN, D-BT11/SECP03EN, D-SS08/021EN)
In the period since the implementation of the Choice Restriction for Fountain of Knowledge, Eva & Combine Rusher in August this year, the usage rate for Fountain of Knowledge, Eva decks has declined greatly, and the deck has not seen much competitive success. As such, the Choice Restriction for Fountain of Knowledge, Eva & Combine Rusher will be lifted.
In the period since the Choice Restriction for Brainwash Swirler and Steam Scara, Gigi was implemented in August, while the usage rate of Chronojet Dragon decks has declined, the deck still makes up a considerable portion of the decks in consideration for Top 8 cutoffs. As such, we have decided to leave the Choice Restriction in place.

There are no changes to Fighter’s Rules for the V Premium format with this update.
■ Premium
Choice Restriction:
Eradicator, Sweep Command Dragon (D-VS05/037EN)
&
Eradicator, Demolition Dragon (D-VS01/038EN)
Narukami has continued to be a force to be reckoned with this season despite the restrictions imposed on the clan previously. Specifically, decks featuring Eradicator, Sweep Command Dragon have made up a significant portion of entries and have generally performed well during this period. As such, we will be imposing a Choice Restriction on Eradicator, Sweep Command Dragon & Eradicator, Demolition Dragon to limit the advantage that the deck can accrue.
While this is the only restriction being implemented this cycle, we are aware of decks with consistent results, and of decks with interactions that may end up being an issue in the future. While we have decided not to impose any restrictions on these decks at this point in time, we will continue to monitor the situation for the Megacolony, Bermuda Triangle, Link Joker, and Spike Brothers clans, and take action if it is necessary to maintain a healthy tournament environment for all our players.
