With the broadcast of a new animation season kicking off, CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez signifies the start of a new protagonist’s journey, Akina Myodo! Join Akina on his way to learn how to play Cardfight!! Vanguard with these new Start Up Trial Decks, which are perfect for both beginners to learn the basics of Vanguard just like Akina at the beginning of the show, and for veteran players who are interested in having simple decks on hand for teaching the fun of Vanguard to others!

These Start Up Trial Decks boil down the gameplay of Cardfight!! Vanguard to the very basics by having only one type of card with abilities included in each deck, helping beginners focus on learning the flow of the game with little distractions!

Furthermore, there will be various cards with numbered markings on them included in these Start Up Trial Decks! Players can use these specific cards to follow along with our specially made tutorial video that will be soon available on our official YouTube Channel for everyone!

Also included within each Start Up Trial Deck set are 2 random cards for beginners to start upgrading their decks after learning the game! One of the two cards is a Trigger card with additional effects for the player’s selected deck’s Nation, and the other is a Sentinel card that prevents a unit from being hit for one battle, with a special bonus of not having to discard a card if they have one or less card remaining in their hand! For players touched by beginners’ luck, there’s a chance of getting a rare “Elementaria Sanctitude” instead of the Sentinel unit!

The fun of upgrading decks does not stop with these decks, as the upcoming releases of Booster Pack 01: Fated Clash on May 3rd and Booster Pack 02: Illusionless Strife on June 28th will feature some of the cards found in these Start Up Trial Decks with their full abilities! This lets beginners experience a fresh new take in playing Cardfight!! Vanguard while keeping to familiar faces that helped them through their journey of learning the basic game mechanics!
