The First Regalis Piece

Gratias Gradale

Gratias Gradale

We’re also introducing a new type of card: Regalis Piece! Only one of these Orders can be put into a deck, and they can only be used once per game! In exchange, these cards will provide amazing benefits to your deck.

The first Regalis Piece to be introduced is “Gratias Gradale”. By playing this order when you have a grade 3 vanguard with the persona ride skill and during a turn when you did not ride, you activate its persona ride for the turn! Effectively, this Order acts as an additional copy of your vanguard, increasing the consistency of you hitting persona ride for greater offensive pushes! Of course, Gratias Gradale will be less effective in decks that necessitate the use of other Orders for their offense, since players may only use Orders once per turn. (If you’re playing Zorga, that’s a different story.)

Special Rarities

Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier
Omniscience Regalia, Minerva
Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom

Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier (SEC), Omniscience Regalia, Minerva (SNR), and Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom (SEC)

Last but not least, there are the special rarities for the Encounter ride lines! Luquier and Maelstrom will have special artwork originating from Vanguard ZERO, while Minerva’s will have a unique serial number hot-stamped onto the card – making every copy one-of-a-kind in the world!

Can’t Quit Sake Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji, Sakura Romance Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji, World-shaper Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji, and Peak Personage Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji

Have fun together with the rambunctious Shojodoji! This grade 3 vanguard binds two Stealth cards in your soul to bind two cards on your opponent’s rear-guard circles; your opponent gets those cards back at the end of your turn. When it attacks, Shojodoji puts two rear-guards to soul to call a Stealth card from your bind zone to the field and enhance it! Overwhelm your weakened opponent with a multitude of attacks from the shadows!

When placed, “World-shaper Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji” and “Sakura Romance Stealth Rogue, Shojodoji” help to filter out Stealth cards from your deck into your soul! In particular, grade 2 Shojodoji calls the remaining card to the field, while grade 1 Shojodoji binds the remaining card instead. Also, both cards can call themselves from the bind zone to the field by Soul-Blasting 1, allowing you to easily build a board for aggression!

Stealth Dragon, Unpreceden, Stealth Dragon, Jakumetsu Arcs, Stealth Fiend, Koumaaun, and Vulkaan Golem

Shojodoji draws upon the strength of units like “Stealth Dragon, Unpreceden” and “Stealth Dragon, Jakumetsu Arcs”! Unpreceden provides on-place draw and continuous Power gain, while Jakumetsu Arcs offers on-place Power and the potential to send a card in your opponent’s bind zone to the bottom of their deck!

There’s also cards like “Stealth Fiend, Koumaaun” and “Vulkaan Golem”! When placed from hand, Koumaan can return an opponent’s card in their bind zone to their deck, or call a card in your bind zone to the field! As for Vulkaan Golem, it recycles a normal unit with the same name as one of your units from drop to your deck for extra Power; key pieces like Unpreceden are the best targets!

Stealth Fiend, Forktail
Motive Stealth Rogue, Tsumugi

Stealth Fiend, Forktail, and Motive Stealth Rogue, Tsumugi

Some cards with the “Stealth” name that you can look into are cards introduced in D Booster Set 05: “Stealth Fiend, Forktail” and “Motive Stealth Rogue, Tsumugi”! When placed, Forktail adds a Stealth card from the top seven cards of your deck to soul, while Tsumugi recycles a Stealth card from drop to soul; use them to set up your soul with cards like Unpreceden or Jakumetsu Arcs! (Which you can put into the bind zone by Shojodoji’s ability.)

It’s Show Time! Ririmi, Ladies and Gentlemen! Rarami, and Scarlet of Fluttering Evanescent Life

The twinning pair of Direful Dolls mark their return to the stage with a flourish! When “It’s Show Time! Ririmi” and “Ladies and Gentlemen! Rarami” are put from soul into your drop during your turn, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call them to the back row in the same column as a front row Rarami/Ririmi respectively! Use this when Tamayura calls the grade 2 Direful Dolls to the field and strengthen your attacking columns! Let’s not forget these cards’ amazing Glitter abilities! After boosting, they can move all rear-guards in their column into the soul. If they moved their twin into soul this way, they activate additional effects! (Ririmi provides Counter-Charge, while Rarami enhances the remaining attacking column.) “Mirage” your board away and prepare for next turn’s deadly burst!

A new Fox Art to consider is “Scarlet of Fluttering Evanescent Life”, allowing you to call a Ririmi and Rarami in your drop to the field. By using soul as the cost, you can also activate the aforementioned grade 1 Rarami and Ririmi to effectively fill your board!

Broken Toys

The long awaited “Broken Toys” is finally available to Tamayura players! When this Normal Order is played, you can put a Ririmi and Rarami card from the top seven cards of your deck or drop into your soul! Then, you draw a card if your soul has one or more Ririmi and Rarami cards! By filtering out your Ririmi and Rarami cards, you’ll set up your offense for your grade 3 turn and also deck thin to hit triggers consistently!

The acclaimed circus troupe of “Silver Thorns” have returned to the Standard format, with the ever-youthful Luquier taking center stage! Call powerful allies from soul and put on a deadly performance for the world to see!

Silver Thorn Assistant, Ionela, Silver Thorn Assistant, Irina, Silver Thorn Marionette, Lillian, and Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier

“Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier” is the iconic vanguard of this deck. By paying Counter-Blast 1 and putting a card from your hand to soul, you can call three cards with different grades from your soul to the field and empower them! At the end of your turn, you can send two allies to soul to draw a card as well! Luquier’s ability to fill up a board with ease and set up an offense should definitely not be underestimated, especially with dangerous allies like Rising Dragon and Lillian running rampant!

Next, “Silver Thorn Marionette, Irina” and “Silver Thorn Marionette, Lillian” are key ride line units that help to prepare your soul for the upcoming performance! These two cards activate their abilities when rode upon by a card with only <<Pale Moon>> for its clan; Irina puts a card from the top seven cards of your deck into soul, while Lillian Soul-Charges 1 and puts a card in soul to hand! If you have a “Luquier” vanguard, Irina also Soul-Charges 1 when placed as a rear-guard, and Lillian gains extra Power and Shield when placed on a rear-guard circle/ put on the guardian circle!

Silver Thorn, Rising Dragon, Silver Thorn, Breathing Dragon, Hurry and Join, Silver Thorn Servants, and Circulate Acrobat, Urseltje

The dragon duo of the Silver Thorn troupe continues to be a menace! “Silver Thorn, Rising Dragon” is a powerful attacker that also cycles a card when placed, setting up your soul for big plays! On the other hand, “Silver Thorn, Breathing Dragon” can buff your front row rear-guards continuously when it is placed from soul on a back row rear-guard circle. Both of these cards are huge buffs to the Silver Thorn deck in Premium as well! (Rising Dragon is an upgrade over its V-Premium counterpart as it hits greater numbers with more utility, while Breathing Dragon can be reused multiple times in a turn, enabling your allies to hit massive numbers!)

“Hurry and Join, Silver Thorn Servants” is a crucial Normal Order for the offense of the deck! You choose one of your rear-guards, and when your vanguard attacks, you can move that rear-guard to soul to call another card from soul to the field! This enables multi-attack for the deck so you can beat down your opponent with threatening attackers! Also, this Normal Order can be played from the soul, so you don’t have to worry about this card being accidentally Soul-Charged! Last but not least, “Circulate Acrobat, Urseltje” provides much-needed Counter-Charge for the deck!

Falcate Performer

Falcate Performer

Falcate Performer” is an important supporter for the Silver Thorn deck. Its ability to send a card with a different grade from cards in your soul from drop to soul allows you to recycle key pieces with ease! (Specifically, recycling the aforementioned Normal Order allows you to consistently ensure 4 powerful attacks per turn.)

Go Ahead, Mikani,Song of Extolment Can Be Heard, and Diverse Wild Master, Honoratio

Let’s now take a look at the important support introduced for the Kheios deck! “Go Ahead, Mikani” is a grade 1 that Soul-Charges 1 on-place, and moves itself to soul to call your grade 3 Mikani in soul to the field! When its Glitter effect is active, it allows all copies of this card in your soul to be regarded as different names! This speeds up the process for Kheios to hit the intended 13-soul requirement!

A potent Normal Order to consider is “Song of Extolment Can Be Heard”. It buffs your vanguard, and puts three normal units in your drop into soul! Given that it’s a grade 1 card, you could use it in the early game to amass soul quickly and turn on some aggression! Lastly, “Diverse Wild Master, Honoratio” is a useful card that gains effects if you have eight or more unique cards in soul: it gets Boost, the ability to intercept from the back row, and extra Power and Shield! It’ll definitely come in handy for setting up lean but effective offenses!

One Who Governs Chaos, Ultrasound Sirie, Friend of the Netherworld, Ling, and Inhale Pit

Since the last update on the Kheios deck, there have been some upgrades to the deck outside of this booster set. One Who Governs Chaos” is a crucial normal order that allows you to quickly amass a large number of unique cards in your soul; it also calls a card from soul to the field and empowers your Mikani ally! It compresses your deck, builds towards Kheios’ full ability and sets up a strong offensive!

“Ultrasound Sirie” and “Friend of the Netherworld, Ling” are cards available in D Trial Deck 02! When placed from hand, Ultrasound Sirie selectively puts a card from the top three cards of your deck to soul, and draws a card if your soul has four or more cards with different grades. On the other hand, Ling puts a card from the top two cards of your deck into soul; its effect is weaker than the former, but it can be activated from hand or from soul!

Lastly, “Inhale Pit” is a helpful ally introduced in D Booster Set 07. It Soul-Blasts 1 card with grade 1 or greater to put two grade 0 cards in your drop into soul, helping to meet Kheios’ ability requirement!

Other Cards

Luxual Songster

Luxual Songster

Luxual Songster” is an interesting generic for Dark States decks! By calling this card from soul, it gets extra Power and the ability to move itself to soul to draw a card when the attack it boosted hits! You could consider using this in Bruce decks, with cards like “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard” and “Diabolos Diver, Julian” that can prioritize calling this supporter!

The monsters that roam the lands of Cray tend to be deranged, terrifying and uninhibited. With the research of the Brandt Gate scientist Arkhite, learn how to control these behemoths and maximize their potential. This deck focuses on putting these amalgamations into the Order Zone to harness their destructive power!

Short Rest, Arkhite, Monster Soul-searching, Arkhite, Sleeping Protector, Arkhite, and Monster Creator, Arkhite

“Monster Creator, Arkhite” is the mysterious scientist behind all the recent explosion of monster attacks. This vanguard can buff a recently placed Monster by returning a duplicate of that Monster in your order zone to the bottom of your deck! On attack, Arkhite sends a Monster rear-guard into your order zone, and calls a Monster from the top seven cards of your deck to the field! Set up a laboratory chock full of Monsters, before unleashing their powers to decimate your opponent!

“Sleeping Protector, Arkhite” and “Monster Soul-searching, Arkhite” help to search your deck for the crucial Research set orders for the deck to function. It’s worth noting that their effects are effectively carbon copies of Eva’s grade 0 – grade 2 rides, so you can consider running those instead to bluff your opponent!

Torrential Energy Research, Reception Monster, Wavyloss, Volcano Monster, Goukaterra, and Windstorm Monster, Cyclogaade

“Torrential Energy Research” is the main Research Set Order that Arkhite uses to prepare these abominations! When it enters the order zone, you can reveal two Monster cards from the top five cards of your deck, put one of them into your hand and the other into the drop! After filtering out these cards, you can Rest this card in your order zone to put a Monster in drop into your order zone, setting up for Arkhite’s ability to buff your Monsters!

Now, let’s take a look at the Monsters whose powers we will harness! These cards (namely “Reception Monster, Wavyloss”, “Volcano Monster, Goukaterra” and “Windstorm Monster, Cyclogaade”) have useful on-place abilities: Wavyloss Soul-Blasts 2 to draw a card, Goukaterra provides retiring tools, and Cyclogaade puts a Monster in your drop into the order zone. Their secondary ability comes into play based on the number of Research cards in your order zone: Wavyloss and Goukaterra gain additional Power for an offensive push, while Cyclogaade gains extra Shield to supplant your defenses!

Experiment Successful!
Go Ahead, Mikani

Experiment Successful!, and Go Ahead, Mikani

Since Arkhite uses the Research order group as well, you could consider using “Experiment Successful!” in the deck as well! When played, this Set Order cycles a card and binds an enemy rear-guard if you have three or more Research cards in your order zone!

Unexpectedly, “Go Ahead, Mikani” has been tried out in this deck as well! This card’s main use is to fuel soul for consistent activation of Wavyless, given that it Soul-Charges 1 and moves itself to soul!

“Great Sword of Fierce Black Flame, Obscudeid” cuts down any foes standing against it! This grade 2 unit gains extra Power and Shield if you have three or more set orders in your order zone. If its Glitter effect is active, you can place Obscudeid by a card ability (like Eva’s effect) to enable it to battle all enemy front row units in one attack! This ally provides additional board removal tools for the Eva deck outside of the Set Order “Experiment Successful!”

Next, let’s look at the Set Order “The World is a Blue Research Lab”. When this grade 3 order is put into the order zone, you can call a card from the top five cards of your deck to the field, filling up your board and activating your allies’ on-place abilities! You can also Soul-Blast 1 and Rest three or more Research cards in your order zone to buff a unit with the Glitter ability!

Result of the Experiment Henceforth
Combine Rusher

Result of the Experiment Henceforth, and Combine Rusher

Outside of those two new cards, there are also crucial additions to the Eva deck like “Result of the Experiment Henceforth”! The grade 1 Set Order gives your Obscudeid rear-guards resistance to your opponent’s retire effects, and it can also be put into your soul to Counter-Charge 1 and put an Obscudeid card in your drop into your hand! It enhances the deck’s consistency and provides help for its resource management!

On the other hand, “Combine Rusher” has been widely viewed as a Brandt Gate staple since D Booster Set 06. Its reputation as a high-powered attacker and ability to revive itself from drop when a set order played from hand is put into the order zone is held in high regard by Eva (and many other decks).

Vivid Rabbit, Witch of Frogs, Melissa, “Witch of Ravens, Chamomile, and Omniscience Regalia, Minerva

“Omniscience Regalia, Minerva” is the powerhouse of this deck. This vanguard confers continuous Power to your front row, scries the top card of your deck to leave it as it is or put it into soul, and performs a restand after attacking! While Minerva’s abilities require heavy use of soul, there are cards that synergise with being Soul-Blasted by your card abilities.

Such cards include “Witch of Ravens, Chamomile” and “Witch of Frogs, Melissa”! When these vanguards are rode upon by a card with only <<Genesis>> for their clan, you can put two cards from the top five cards of your deck into soul! Furthermore, Chamomile and Melissa call themselves to the field when they are put into the drop from soul! (Do take note that Melissa calls itself to the back row and Soul-Charges 1, while Chamomile can call itself anywhere.) Together with Minerva’s Soul-Blast abilities, you can enable attack extensions to bring your opponent to their knees!

Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica
Apple Witch, Cider
Wisdom of Beginning That Cleared The World

Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica, Apple Witch, Cider, and Wisdom of Beginning That Cleared The World

Important <<Genesis>> allies for the deck include the prescient “Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica” and “Apple Witch, Cider”! After it attacked, Angelica gives Power to your vanguard and moves itself to soul to Counter-Charge 1! Not only does it activate Minerva’s front row buff, it can also Soul-Blast Chamomile to generate an additional attack! As for Cider, it bounces itself back to hand after boosting, and gains extra Shield to help on defense!

If you have trouble building a board, you can use “Wisdom of Beginning That Cleared The World”! By playing this normal order, you can draw two cards and call two cards from hand that have grades less than or equal to your vanguard!

If you have trouble building a board, you can use “Wisdom of Beginning That Cleared The World”! By playing this normal order, you can draw two cards and call two cards from hand that have grades less than or equal to your vanguard!

Drilling Angel
Knight of Piercing, Cadwalla
Knight of Rendering Flash, Cairbre

Drilling Angel, Knight of Piercing, Cadwalla, and Knight of Rendering Flash, Cairbre

Amazing options for the Minerva deck include cards like “Drilling Angel”, “Knight of Piercing, Cadwalla” and “Knight of Rendering Flash, Cairbre”! Use Drilling Angel to recycle copies of Chamomile in your drop back to soul and set up attack extensions! As for Cadwalla and Cairbre, you can rely on them to filter out high grade key pieces from your deck (like Persona Ride copies). Of course, Cadwalla can assist in attack extension possibilities with Chamomile, while Cairbre has the option to build your board instead.

Pink Moth Girl, Maple, and Dark Magenta of Blooming Hatred

“Pink Moth Girl, Maple” is a great supporter for the Thegrea deck! When you perform persona ride, Maple’s ability to recall itself from drop to the field and gain Power during the ride phase will be beneficial in maintaining a board presence. Furthermore, Maple restands itself after the unit in the same column Stands as well, serving as an effective booster for your attacking rear-guard or vanguard (depending on which Thegrea you are using that turn)!

Next, you could consider using the Set Order “Dark Magenta of Blooming Hatred” as well! It draws a card when it enters the Order Zone, but its main purpose is to change forms between the two grade 3 Thegreas during your main phase! In doing so, you’ll be able to activate either Thegrea’s restand effect for that turn!

Oath of Vengeance, Thegrea

“Oath of Vengeance, Thegrea” is an interesting grade 3 Set Order to be considered. While this card is in your Order Zone and you have a Thegrea vanguard, it enhances your persona ride to draw two cards and buff your front row with +15 000 Power instead! It’s important to note that this card has “Thegrea” in its card name; this allows it to be added to hand from deck by grade 2 Thegrea’s ability!

The leader of the Aqua Force militia bursts from the seas of Stoicheia, reborn in this new era! Maelstrom focuses on restanding its Aqua Force and Tear Dragon allies repeatedly during your turn, like an incessant and unrelenting wave!

Officer Cadet, Erikk, Tear Knight, Theo, “Marine General of the Restless Tides, Algos, and Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom

Commanding the marine corps is “Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom”. By discarding a card during your main phase, Maelstrom calls an <<Aqua Force>> or <Tear Dragon> card from your soul to the field, and confers it the ability to restand during the first battle of your turn! Furthermore, when Maelstrom attacks the enemy vanguard during the fourth or more battle of that turn, you draw a card and retire an enemy ally! Use Maelstrom’s ability to target key cards like Algos, Inlet Pulse and Shoreline Raise!

For this deck’s grade 1 and grade 2 ride targets, we have iconic units in “Tear Knight, Theo” and “Marine General of the Restless Tides, Algos”! When rode upon by a card with only Aqua Force for its clan, Theo adds a Blue Storm Armada card from your deck to hand, while Algos calls an Aqua Force unit or a Tear Dragon from the top seven cards of your deck to the field! On top of this, should Algos attack during the fourth or more battle of that turn, it gets extra Power and vanguard on-hit pressure to draw a card! (You could use Maelstrom to call Algos from the soul to use this ability.)

Tidal Assault, Wheel Assaulto, Judgment Maelstrom, and Shoreline Raise Dragon

Returning to the frontlines with Maelstrom are the iconic naval troopers “Tidal Assault” and “Wheel Assault”! Wheel Assault buffs your Maelstrom vanguard when attacking, and Stands itself after it attacked during the second battle or more of that turn! It’s especially effective in initiating a quick blitz on your opponent’s defenses, especially while they’re still grade 2! On the other hand, Wheel Assault swaps two of your rear-guard’s positions after boosting! Use this to launch wave after wave of attacks on your opponent.

Next, there is the Set Order “Judgment Maelstrom”. When played, this Blue Storm Armada calls an Aqua Force card or a Tear Dragon in your drop to the field, and enhances your ally with Power that scales with the number of Judgment Maelstrom in your Order Zone! Let’s also not forget about “Shoreline Raise Dragon”, a Tear Dragon used as an attacker for the fourth or more battle of that turn!

Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon
Prized Trident

Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon, and Prized Trident

At this point, it’s been well established how impactful “Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon” is to the Stoicheia nation. Though its first ability is relevant only to Flagburg decks, its second ability to move itself to soul for card draw has been crucial in multiple decks like Magnolia, Flagburg, and now Maelstrom. Given that it’s also a Tear Dragon, it’s a viable target for Maelstrom’s or Judgment Maelstrom’s call effect!

If you find yourself lacking in Counter-Blast, do consider “Prized Trident”! During the fifth or more battle of the turn, it moves into soul to Counter-Charge 1!

Undoubting Flame Sword, Radylina, To The Shining Stage!, Full Blown Dragon, and Signpost Fairy

Lead the way with “Undoubting Flame Sword, Radylina”! If you’re missing Momokke on the field, this ally calls it to the field when your main phase begins, setting up your offensive push! Of course, Radylina’s strength lies in its second ability: after your unit with “Radylina” attacked, you can retire a Radylina rear-guard and Momokke token on the field to call this card from hand to the field, and increase this unit’s Power by the Power of the Momokke token retired for this cost! Achieve a total of five blazing attacks with Rorowa, with each swing becoming more and more overwhelming!

Next, “To The Shining Stage!” is a Normal Order that can be likened to “Spiritual Body Condensation”. When played, you call a card with grade less than or equal to your vanguard from your drop to the field; if you have a Radylina on your field, you call a Plant token as well! While this doesn’t give a 5000 Power buff to the unit called (which Spiritual Body does), its ability to call a Plant token that can then be retired for Momokke will pay greater dividends for your offense!

We also have helpful cards like “Full Blown Dragon” and “Signpost Fairy”! Full Blown Dragon is a alternative to Candelaria that moves to soul at the end of the turn to call two Plant tokens for Rorowa’s defensive ability; on the other hand, Signpost Fairy buffs your grade 1 or less ally with Power when retired by a card ability – use Momokke to retire it for massive Power gains!

Resolute Pair of Eyes
Delicate Beauty Maiden, Candelaria

Resolute Pair of Eyes, and Delicate Beauty Maiden, Candelaria

An important order for the Rorowa deck is “Resolute Pair of Eyes”! This Set Order provides much needed consistency to the deck, adding a Radylina card from your deck to your hand when placed into the Order Zone. Furthermore, it buffs all back row token units with +5000 Power to bolster offensive columns!

There’s also “Delicate Beauty Maiden, Candeleria” that retires itself at the end of the turn to call two Plant tokens! It’s quite clear that this card aids Rorowa’s defensive ability. Candeleria also serves a crucial role in Great Nature Bigbelly” decks – it enables more activations of Bigbelly’s card draw effect, while providing two tokens that can be readily retired by your G Guardian effects like “Head of the Bastion, Ardillo” (which in turn activates Bigbelly again!)
