Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra Ride Line

Under the dim moonlight, the maiden of the shrine protects the sacred grounds with her divine weapons. “Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra” is the new Dragon Empire deck that unleashes new power into the game!

This deck plays with the mechanic: Normal Order/ Arms. Arms are akin to special weapons that only Bavsargra can wield. By playing an Arms card, you put it on the vanguard circle at the left or right side of your vanguard, according to the information in its text. Your vanguard then becomes Armed with that card!

Use the power of your Arms to overwhelm your opponent. Bavsargra is a very vanguard-centric deck which can accumulate lots of Power and Critical on the vanguard to demolish the opponent. The Bavsargra ride line is available in “D Start Deck 06: Mirei Minae -Sealed Blaze Maiden-”, while other support units that power up this deck can be found in “D Booster Set 04: Awakening of Chakrabarthi”. (this product!)

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Arhinsa

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Arhinsa” is your First Vanguard of the Bavsargra ride line! Even though it looks very intimidating, it is but a herald for the terrifying Bavsargra.

It has the same ability as other First Vanguards, but you must run this card in the Bavsargra ride line to activate the ability of “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Namorkahr”!

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Namorkahr

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Namorkahr” is your essential grade 1 ride for the deck! When Namorkahr is ridden over “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Arhinsa”, you can Soul-Blast 1 to add a “Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih” or “Sealed Blaze Shield, Swayanbuh” in your deck to your hand! Essentially, you’ll be able to obtain the essential Arms cards that you need to use when Bavsargra enters the field! Generally, you’ll want to grab Swayanbuh from your deck so that you can guarantee an effective defense when Bavsargra is Armed with it. To compensate for this, you could run Prithivih in larger quantities in the deck to make it easier to draw into.

Namorkahr also gains +2000 Power when it attacks as a rear-guard, which could be helpful in forming optimal numbers!

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Halibadra

The grade 2 vanguard for the Bavsargra ride line, “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Halibadra” is quite important in the deck! By riding this card over “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Namokahr”, you can put an Arms card in your drop into your hand! This ability enables you to discard an Arms card to ride from the ride deck, before grabbing it from the drop again! You could discard the Arms card that you obtained from Namorkahr’s first ability!

Other than this, Halibadra could be a helpful attacker on the field, gaining +5000 Power when it attacks while your vanguard is Armed.

Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra

Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra” shrouds the battlefield in darkness! While beautiful in the moonlight, this warrior is extremely deadly!

Bavsargra’s first ability activates when it is Armed, allowing you to Soul-Charge 1 and call a grade 1 or less card in your drop to the field! Not only does this help you to better manage your resources to play other Arms, it also increases your board presence with helpful supporters! (For example, “Trickmoon” can be called with Bavsargra’s ability to strengthen Bavsargra’s attack greatly!)

Should Bavsargra be Armed with two or more cards, you can Soul-Blast 3 to retire all of your opponent’s front row rear-guards and give this vanguard an additional Critical! You’re able to remove key attackers on your opponent’s field and also increase the pressure of your vanguard attack! You can expect that Bavsargra will be attacking with high Power and Critical to decimate your opponent! (“Trickmoon”, “Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih” and “Sealed Blaze Spear, Aadhitya” are able to significantly power up your vanguard attack.)

Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih

One important Arms to always have on hand is “Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih”!

When your vanguard Armed with this card attacks, it gets +10 000 Power! Then, after it attacks, if your opponent has four or less cards in their damage zone, you can Counter-Blast 2 and put this card into your soul to deal one damage to their vanguard!

Not only does your vanguard hit for even higher numbers, it also gives pressure to your opponent as they approach six damage faster! Furthermore, when this is Armed on Bavsargra, it enables your other cards that consider the number of Arms that your vanguard is Armed with. (For example, Bavsargra, “Trickmoon” and “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Adarla”.)

Sealed Blaze Shield, Swayanbuh

An Arms card that you definitely need is “Sealed Blaze Shield, Swayanbuh”!

When Bavsargra is attacked while this card is Armed, it gains +10 000 Power for that battle! This essentially gives you a free defensive trigger Power that you can use to better defend against enemy attacks! This is definitely something that you always want to have Armed to Bavsargra, as it helps you to tide through the game more smoothly.

Trickmoon

The sinister counterpart of “Trickstar” finally makes its debut! “Trickmoon” is an especially important card for the Bavsargra ride line, allowing you to Counter-Charge 1 when called to your back row center rear-guard circle from drop! This helps with your resource management, given how there are many important cards in the deck that are heavy on cost.

Furthermore, “Trickmoon” has the unique ability ‘DressBoost’! When this rear-guard boosts, the boosted unit gains +10 000 Power for each card your “Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra” is Armed with! Essentially, this powerful supporter can give a maximum of +20 000 Power to the unit that it boosts, creating a very threatening attack. You can expect to see your Bavsargra attack your opponent with crazy amounts of Power thanks to “Trickmoon”.

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Adarla

Another essential supporter for the deck is “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Adarla”. By calling this rear-guard while your vanguard circle has one Arms, you can Counter-Blast 1 to Arm an Arms card in your hand or drop to your vanguard!

Adarla allows you to Arm your vanguard with two Arms on turn 3 to fully maximise your offensive and defensive strategy! It should also be noted that this ability allows you to put into play more than one Order per turn and bypass the cost of the second Arms! As such, Adarla is a must-have when you ride Bavsargra on turn 3.

Other than this, Adarla can also be an effective attacker, gaining +5000 Power if your vanguard circle has two or more Arms! Given how easy it is to Arm your vanguard, Adarla will be able to consistently gain this Power to advance your strategy.

Sealed Blaze Spear, Aadhitya

Sealed Blaze Spear, Aadhitya” is another important card to be run in the deck.

Aadhitya’s first ability allows you to draw a card and play an additional Arms card this turn when it is Armed! Not only do you cycle through your deck for more key pieces, you can also play an additional Arms to enable your full game plan by turn 3!

Other than this, Bavsargra also gains a powerful +10 000 Power from this Arms! This further strengthens Bavsargra’s attack to hit for more threatening numbers! (Combine this with “Trickmoon” and Bavsargra’s second ability to see your opponent wilt under Bavsargra’s attack.)

Sealed Blaze Gun, Chandra

An interesting option to consider is “Sealed Blaze Gun, Chandra’!

When Bavsargra attacks while Armed with this card, you can Counter-Blast 2 to give it an additional drive! After that battle, you put Chandra into your drop. This could be helpful for you to generate additional card advantage and potentially reveal more triggers during your drive check!

Sealed Blaze Gun, Chandra

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Sikshanya” could also be run in your deck. By calling this rear-guard, you can discard an Arms card in your hand to draw a card and give this unit a helpful +5000 Power buff!

This card could be helpful in cycling through your deck further for more key pieces while becoming a key attacker on the turn it was placed. Furthermore, Sikshanya helps to set up the drop with Arms cards for “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Adarla” to Arm to your vanguard!

Blaze Maiden, Tanya

Another great option for the deck is “Blaze Maiden, Tanya”. By calling this card to the field, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call a grade 0 in your drop to the field! By using Tanya to call a “Trickmoon” from the drop, you can recover your face up damage and set up your powerful vanguard attack!

Secondly, when Tanya attacks, you can Soul-Blast 1 to buff one of your grade 0 units with +5000 Power! This could be useful to strengthen Trickmoon, which consequently boosts your vanguard attack to hit even higher numbers! Of course, do be careful when using this ability, so that you have sufficient soul to play some of your other Arms.

Tanya can be obtained from “D Booster Set 02: A Brush with the Legends”!

Key Tips

With so many Arms cards in your deck with no shield values, you’ll need to be very careful in the early game to defend against enemy attacks. After riding to grade 3, you can start playing your Arms cards and stabilise your match.

It’s important that you have “Sealed Blaze Shield, Swayanbuh” ready when you ride into Bavsargra, as it has great defensive value in the deck. As such, you’ll always want to use “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Namorkahr” to search out Swayanbuh as fast as possible.

“Sealed Blaze Spear, Aadhitya” and “Sealed Blaze Dragon, Ardala” are also essential cards that you want to see by your grade 3 turn, as they can allow your vanguard to be Armed with two Arms immediately! Make sure that you have enough cycling and drawing in the deck to increase your chances of having them in your hand.

Support for Chakrabarthi Dragon, Nirvana

Vairina Esperaridea

Vairina Esperaridea” is yet another powerful upgrade of Vairina! With renewed power, this rear-guard will be exceptionally great on your field.

This card can be overDress over “Trickstar”, so you can set up to call this rear-guard with Mahar Nirvana’s second ability. (Given that Esperaridea is a grade 4.)

When it enters the field in the overDress state, you can put ALL “Trickstar” and cards with the overDress ability from your drop as this rear-guard’s originalDress! This gives some purpose to your retired overDress units, and helps to prepare for Esperaridea’s final ability! To maximise this, you could use “Vairina Exspecta” on your previous turn to attack with great Power and Critical before putting all of its originalDress into the drop!

When your vanguard attacks, you can Soul-Blast 1 to Stand this rear-guard, and give it +5000 Power for each of this rear-guard’s originalDress! Thus, you’ll have access to a high-powered rear-guard that can also attack twice! Should your vanguard attack fail to hit your opponent’s vanguard, you are still able to commit trigger effects on Esperaridea to up its threat level!

With so much raw offensive output, Esperaridea is definitely a card you want to play in the new and improved Nirvana deck!

Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana

Rising from the ashes of defeat, Nirvana ascends once more with greater strength and stronger flames! “Chakrabarthi True Dragon, Mahar Nirvana” pierces the dark skies to bring about victory over your opponent!

This vanguard gives all of your front row units +10 000 Power if you have a unit in the overDress state on your field! With how easy it is to keep an overDress unit on the board, you can ensure that all of your attackers benefit from this powerful buff to unleash mayhem on your opponent!

Furthermore, you can Counter-Blast 1 and put a “Nirvana” card in your hand or soul into your drop to call a grade 0 from your drop to the field. If your opponent has four or less cards in their damage zone, you can deal one damage to their vanguard! Not only can you set up your board with “Trickstar” to prepare for overDress (especially with “Vairina Esperaridea”), you can also immediately pressure your opponent by pushing them closer to six damage!

Your opponent must tread lightly around this deck – one careless turn, and they may find themselves staring down the full might of Esperaridea and Mahar Nirvana threatening to finish the game! This is definitely a card that you must run alongside Esperaridea to close out the game!

Blaze Kick Monk, Koukei

Blaze Kick Monk, Koukei” is an important support card for the new Nirvana deck! By calling this rear-guard to the field, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call a grade 0 card to the field in the same column as this unit, and Koukei gains ‘Boost’ for the turn!

This could be particularly helpful to call “Trickstar” to the field when Mahar Nirvana is on your vanguard, because you might not always have an additional ‘Nirvana’ card in your hand or soul to pay for Mahar Nirvana’s ability, or your opponent might already be at five damage. You can then overDress into Esperaridea which can be boosted by Koukei for high numbers! Furthermore, Koukei serves as an effective booster with “Trickstar” to hit optimal numbers, before calling “Vairina Erger” to the field in the overDress state!

Blaze Pole Monk, Retsuji

Another great support for the deck is “Blaze Pole Monk, Retsuji”. By calling this rear-guard, you can Counter-Blast 1 to put an overDress card in your drop into your hand! If your vanguard is grade 4, you Counter-Charge 1!

By refunding its own cost, Retsuji helps you regain resources if you’re on Mahar Nirvana so that you can pay the cost for your other card abilities!

Sublimating Wish

Another great resource tool for the deck is the Normal Order “Sublimating Wish”! By paying Soul-Blast 1, you can give one of your cards in the overDress state this helpful ability: “when it attacks a vanguard, Counter-Charge 1”!

You can give this ability to your overDress units that can Stand again to regenerate your resources at a faster rate! (Vairina Esperaridea and Vairina Valiente’ are great examples of this!) With so many cards that eat up your resources, this Normal Order will allow you to better manage your resources for your other card abilities.

Blaze Maiden, Sonya
Blaze Maiden, Tonya

Blaze Maiden, Sonya” and “Blaze Maiden, Tonya” are a pair of cards that you could consider in your deck! By calling Sonya to the field while your vanguard is grade 3 or greater, you can Soul-Blast 1 to give it +10 000 Power! Sonya will be able to attack with great Power, and can be boosted by Tonya to hit optimal numbers.

On the other hand, after the battle that Tonya boosted Sonya, you can Counter-Blast 1 to retire both Tonya and Sonya in the same column to add a unit card with grade equal to your vanguard’s grade +1 or greater from your deck into your hand!
This could be especially helpful for you to obtain grade 4 cards like Mahar Nirvana and Esperaridea, or even grade 3 cards like Nirvana and your Vairina variants starting from turn 2!

Support for Artillery of Dust Storm, Eugene

Twin Bullet of Dust Storm, Travis

Twin Bullet of Dust Storm, Travis” is another field control tool that you can use in Eugene! If your opponent’s rear-guard was retired during your turn, you can Counter-Blast 2 to Soul-Charge 1, retire one of your opponent’s rear-guards and give this unit +10 000 Power!

Not only does Travis accumulate more soul for Eugene’s second ability, it also removes pesky rear-guards on the opponent’s side of the field and gains helpful Power to attack with optimal numbers! This is a solid card that you should definitely look into playing to maximise your resource usage, since this deck doesn’t use a lot of Counter-Blast.

Strong Sharp Dragon, Geizfort

Another great option to consider is “Strong Sharp Dragon, Geizfort”! When your opponent’s rear-guard is retired during your turn while this card is in your back row, you can Stand this rear-guard and give it +2000 Power!

This card can be Rest by Eugene to retire an opponent’s rear-guard, before being Stand again to serve as a booster that forms optimal attacking columns! Furthermore, this ability doesn’t have any cost requirements, allowing you to use it freely without worry!

Lobbed Bullet of Dust Storm, Ooley
Lobbed Artillery of Dust Storm, Dooley

Lobbed Bullet of Dust Storm, Ooley” and “Lobbed Artillery of Dust Storm, Dooley” are an inseparable pair that you could consider! These units havesimilar abilities: When your opponent’s rear-guard is retired during your main phase, you can return the other half of the pair to your hand!

These cards can be Rest for Eugene’s retire ability, before being bounced back into hand and called down again to serve as attackers or boosters, or to conserve hand.

Support for Dragonic Overlord

Strong Sharp Dragon, Geizfort

Strong Sharp Dragon, Geizfort” can also be used together with “Dragonic Overlord”! When your opponent’s rear-guard is retired during your turn while this rear-guard is in the back row, you can Stand this card and give it +2000 Power!

Geizfort can be used to boost Dragonic Overlord’s initial attack on a rear-guard to guarantee that a rear-guard is retired, before Dragonic Overlord Stands again! Geizfort’s ability can then activate, allowing it to serve as a booster again! (Even with increased Power to hit optimal numbers!)

Lightning Howl Dragon

Another interesting option to consider is “Lightning Howl Dragon”! When your vanguard attack hits, you can return this rear-guard to your hand!

This card can be called as an attacker, before being returned to hand when Dragonic Overlord’s attack hits and being discarded for Dragonic Overlord’s Stand ability. This allows you to conserve other key pieces and defensive options in hand that could have otherwise been discarded.

Other than this, “Lightning Howl Dragon” can be useful in matchups against field removal decks because it clears itself from the field, hindering your opponent’s game plan.

Wind of the Apocalypse

Wind of the Apocalypse” is a helpful Blitz Order for your Dragonic Overlord deck! By playing this while your vanguard is “Dragonic Overlord”, you can give one of your units +20 000 Power for the battle!

The defensive strength of this card, combined with the lack of cost requirements, makes it a decent option in the deck. Of course, do consider how many of such Orders you will need to run in your deck, as you also want other key rear-guards to further your offense.

dark-state-banner

Support for Diabolos, ‘Violence’ Bruce

The maestro of the pitch has gotten a serious upgrade! “Diabolos, “Unrivaled” Bruce” crashes onto the field, ready to do serious damage to your opponent! Like the grade 3 version, “Unrivaled” Bruce enters into ‘Final Rush’ at the beginning of your ride phase, so you’ll be able to utilise your cards that require ‘Final Rush’ to be active!

Bruce’s second ability activates at the end of the battle that this vanguard attacked while ‘Final Rush’ is active, allowing you to Counter-Blast 1 and Soul-Blast 5 to Stand all of your front row units, and give this vanguard -2 drive!

This ability essentially allows you to attack your opponent with a minimum of six attacks! Furthermore, your vanguard will be able to attack two times, so you’ll be able to potentially reveal even more triggers to buff your board! Front triggers in your deck have definitely become a lot more valuable, as Bruce will be able to benefit from the additional +10 000 Power when it Stands again!

Overall, this card offers a different offensive playstyle for the Bruce ride line, giving you more sustainability in your matches (through additional drive checks and vanguard attacks) while sacrificing raw offensive output! (From Persona Ride and “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard”!)

Diabolos Striker, Lyle

Another strong card that Bruce can utilise is “Diabolos Striker, Lyle”. By calling this rear-guard, you can Counter-Blast 1 to give it +5000 Power for the turn. If ‘Final Rush’ is active, you can Soul-Charge 2 and call a card in your soul to an open rear-guard circle!

Like most other ‘Final Rush’ support cards, Lyle becomes more effective on turns where ‘Final Rush’ is active! You’ll be able to accumulate even more soul and further increase your board presence with key rear-guards when Lyle enters the field! It’s also worth noting that Lyle can be used in conjunction with “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard” to call even more rear-guards during your battle phase to enable even more attacks!

Gear Eagle of Sudden Banks

An interesting card to consider is “Gear Eagle of Sudden Banks”! After the attack this unit boosted hits, you can retire this rear-guard to call a grade 1 card in your soul to the field!

This card could be useful in initiating even more attacks during your battle phase, as you could call out great attacking targets like “Diabolos Boys, Crusty” to deal more damage! Key boosters like “Protobulb Dragon” or “Monitoring Gear Dober” could also be called by this unit!

It’s worth noting that this card has immense synergy with “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard” when ‘Final Rush’ is active, allowing you to maximise your on-hits from Lenard while also removing itself from the board to allow for better positioning for Lenard’s superior calls!

Diabolos Boys, Crusty

A strong offensive option is “Diabolos Boys, Crusty”! By calling this rear-guard while ‘Final Rush’ is active, this unit gains +5000 Power for every 3 cards in your soul!

By accumulating soul over the past three turns before ‘Final Rush’ is active, you’ll be able to strengthen the attack from this rear-guard! Cards like “Diabolos Returner, Deryck” and “Pandemonium Tactics” help to facilitate and strengthen this playstyle!

Helheim Fervent Rage

A phenomenal Normal Order to consider is “Helheim Fervent Rage”! By discarding a card from your hand when this card is played, you get to Counter-Charge 1! Furthermore, if ‘Final Rush’ is active, you draw two cards, and call two cards from your hand to the field! Those rear-guards gain +5000 Power!

Overall, the Counter-Charge that this card provides is quite beneficial in managing resources for other card abilities. On top of that, it also helps to cycle through your deck for more key pieces and increases your board presence with useful rear-guards that gain additional Power! This is definitely a card to consider if you find yourself not having enough resources for card abilities or card draw to find your key pieces.

Support for Master of Gravity, Baromagnes

Brainwash Swirler

Brainwash Swirler” is a powerful unit on the board that also increases your soul count! By calling this rear-guard, you can Soul-Charge 1! Such a simple and free ability accumulates more soul to reach Baromagnes’ 15 soul requirement!

Furthermore, if your vanguard is grade 3 or greater, this rear-guard can gain +5000 Power when your card is put into your soul by Soul-Charge! With so many cards in the Baromagnes deck that help you Soul-Charge, you can expect to see this rear-guard gain a lot of Power! It also helps that this card’s first ability can also activate this effect, so it will at least have 13 000 Power on turn 3 to be a helpful booster!

“Cutting Sword Dance, Qiehgra

Another great option that buffs your board and gives you toolboxing is “Cutting Sword Dance, Qiehgra”! When you call this rear-guard, you perform all of the following effect according to the number of cards in your soul!

If you have 7 or more soul, you can Counter-Blast 1 and discard a card from hand to put a card in your soul into hand and Soul-Charge 1! This allows you to grab any important pieces in soul that could further solidify your offensive plan and maintain the current number of cards in soul.

If you have 13 or more soul, your front row units gain +5000 Power! With other great support like “Aureate Haze Rupture” and “Phantasma Magician, Curtis” that buff your board, you can expect to see your opponent crumble against your dangerous front row attackers!

Aureate Haze Rupture

Aureate Haze Rupture” is a powerful card that buffs your front row well! Should your vanguard be “Master of Gravity, Baromagnes”, you can put a card from your hand into your soul to give all of your front row units a helpful +5000 Power buff! However, they can gain +10 000 Power instead if you have 10 or more cards in your soul!

Given how easy it is to achieve 10 or more cards in soul by turn 3 for Baromagnes, you’ll be able to rely on this card to consistently strengthen your board quickly! Furthermore, it also helps to increase your soul count to reach Baromagnes’ 15 soul requirement; you’re going to need all the help you can get to reach that threshold as quickly as possible.

Violet Blue Illusory Butterfly, Huanju

Violet Blue Illusory Butterfly, Huanju” is another card you can use to accelerate to 15 soul! By calling this rear-guard while you have five or more units, you can Counter-Blast 1 to Soul-Charge 3. Then, if you have 10 or more soul, you can give your vanguard an additional +5000 Power!

Overall, Huanju helps to build towards the 15 soul requirement to unlock Baromagnes’ full potential and also buffs your vanguard to hit for even higher numbers!

Support for Avaricious Demonic Dragon, Greedon

Desire Devil, Bubetsuu

Desire Devil, Bubetsuu” is an important option that you need to elevate the offensive potential of Greedon! When your other rear-guard is put into your soul by your vanguard’s ability this turn, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call a card from your hand to an open rear-guard circle. Furthermore, you draw a card if you have 10 or more cards in your soul.

You could use Bubetsuu to call out another attacker, given that Greedon will consume its Stand rear-guards. You could also use Bubetsuu to call out “Desire Devil, Mucca” to the field to yet again increase your board presence; with the right number of Bubetsuu and Mucca used, you can guarantee yet another attack from Greedon!

Other than this, the card draw from Bubetsuu is also helpful to regain your card advantage and filter through your deck for more key pieces!

Desire Devil, Kenen

Another important support for the deck is “Desire Devil, Kenen“. By calling this rear-guard during the main phase, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call the top card of your deck to the field! At the end of your turn, you retire the called unit.

Simply put, Kenen helps to increase your board presence with units to be devoured by Greedon! You’ll be able to conserve your hand for defensive purposes!

Desire Devil, Walzuure

Another interesting option that can fill your board easily is “Desire Devil, Walzuure“! When you ride “Avaricious Demonic Dragon, Greedon”, you can Counter-Blast 1 to call this card in your soul to the field!

Similarly to Kenen, Walzuure helps to increase your board presence for Greedon’s ability without using up your hand to call more rear-guards!

Desire Devil, Bessie

A strong finisher that you can consider is “Desire Devil, Bessie“. Should you have five or more units, you can Counter-Blast 1 to give your vanguard +5000 Power for the turn! If you have six cards in your damage zone, your vanguard gains +15 000 Power instead!

This card is most effective when you’re pushed to your very limit! You’ll be able to use this ability multiple times in a turn, so you can give your vanguard crazy amounts of Power to overwhelm your opponent! Of course, it’s important that you conserve some face up damage for your other card abilities that can potentially allow you to attack thrice with your vanguard!

Desire Devil, Yaada

A great card that provides utility to your deck is “Desire Devil, Yaada“. When your vanguard attacks while you have three or more Stand units, you can retire this rear-guard to Soul-Charge 2 and put a card with the same name as your vanguard in your soul onto the top of your deck.

Not only does this increase your soul count to better meet the full requirements of Greedon’s ability, it also helps you to obtain a copy of your vanguard to Persona Ride the following turn! Of course, you need to be careful when using this ability if you’re approaching six damage, as you can deactivate Greedon’s first ability if you do not have a copy of “Avaricious Demonic Dragon, Greedon” in your soul.

Shining Selfishness” is an interesting defensive option you could consider! By paying Soul-Blast 4, you can give your vanguard +5000 Power for each card in your damage zone!

As this card has greater defensive strength the longer the game progresses, it will serve as an effective showstopper against more powerful attacks! Do be careful in deckbuilding to regulate the number of such Blitz Orders in your deck so that you still have space for attackers!

keter-sanctuary-banner

Support for Apex Ruler, Bastion

Apex-surpassing Sword, Bastion Prime

Riding into battle with a fearsome longsword and divine armor, “Apex-surpassing Sword, Bastion Prime” is here to turn the tide of the battle! This powerful vanguard has exceeded its limits to become a holy terror on the field!

Bastion Prime has a first ability reminiscent of its former self: all of your front row units gain +2000 Power during your turn. This time, Bastion Prime also can buff non-grade 3 units, so your grade 2 and grade 1 units in your deck can still benefit from this buff.

With that being said, Bastion Prime’s second ability is extremely powerful and should not be underestimated! After the battle that your drive check revealed a grade 3 or greater unit, you can put a “Bastion” card from your hand or soul into your drop to Stand ALL of your grade 3 rear-guards and give them +10 000 Power!

Essentially, you’ll be able to hit your opponent even harder with more high-powered attacks! It’s very important that you use cards that can give purpose to grade 3 rear-guards in the back row as well to maximise your offensive output! (Cards like “Dark Strain Dragon” and “Pride to Protect” are able to give your grade 3 rear-guards Boost, so your attacking columns are effectively strengthened by +20 000 Power when Bastion Prime activates!)

On top of this, Bastion is also receiving more cards that gain benefits when they are Stand by your vanguard’s ability, so your board will be significantly strengthened just by utilising Bastion Prime’s effect!

With so many powerful grade 3 cards that Bastion has access to (like “Grand Heavenly Sword, Alden” and “Heavenly Shock of Distinction, Lagrele”), it’s no wonder that this card will be absolutely amazing for your deck!

Heavenly Pike of Solicitation, Cornvoc

An interesting field building option is “Heavenly Pike of Solicitation, Cornvoc”! By paying Soul-Blast 1 and Resting this rear-guard, you can look at the top three cards of your deck and call one grade 3 or greater card that has a different card name from this unit to the field!

Cornvac’s potential can be realised when you build your Bastion deck with as many grade 3s as possible, which you will realise is really easy to do! You’ll be able to consistently activate this ability and ensure that you can call a grade 3 to build your board.

Furthermore, Bastion Prime will be able to Stand this unit once more, so it can potentially serve as an attacker or booster to elevate your offense! (If you have “Dark Strain Dragon” or “Pride to Protect” active.)

Heavenly Arrow of Sure-hit, Sparare

Heavenly Arrow of Sure-hit, Sparare” introduces positioning strategies into Bastion’s playstyle! When this rear-guard is Stand by your vanguard’s ability while on a front row rear-guard circle, you can Soul-Blast 2 to draw a card! This allows you to cycle through your deck further for your other key pieces, while also refunding the cost for Bastion (or Bastion Prime’s) ability!

On the other hand, Sparare also helps as a back row rear-guard! During your turn, all other rear-guards in the same column as this unit gain +5000 Power! This means that the attacker in front of it can be buffed to hit optimal numbers! You can also combine this card with “Dark Strain Dragon” to further elevate your attacking column’s offensive output!

Heavenly Blade of Vow, Flient

A powerful attacker that you can rely on is “Heavenly Blade of Vow, Flient”. Should your vanguard be “Apex-surpassing Sword, Bastion Prime”, this rear-guard gains an additional +5000 Power! Furthermore, when it is Stand by your card effect while your opponent’s vanguard is grade 3 or greater, it gains another +5000 Power!

Simply put, Flient is a strong attacker in its own right! This card will also be able to capitalise on the strong Power buff and Stand effect from the original Bastion or Bastion Prime, so it can still be effective on turn 3 when Bastion Prime has not entered the field.

Heavenly Enclasp Dragon, Embrace Dragon” is a powerful defensive option that you can substitute “Actual Analyst, Kokabiel” for! By putting this card onto the guardian circle, you can give one of your grade 2 or greater units +10 000 Power for that battle! Should you choose a grade 4 card, that unit gains +20 000 Power instead!

This card would work much better in a deck that relies on “Apex-surpassing Sword, Bastion Prime” for its defense over Kokabiel, because Kokabiel’s defensive strength is only active when you have “Apex Ruler, Bastion” as your vanguard. It also helps that this ability is costless, allowing you to conserve resources for other purposes.

Patrol of Heavenly Eye, Touve

For players who enjoy playing Bastion in a more control-oriented fashion, you can use “Patrol of Heavenly Eye, Touve”! When you reveal this card during your drive check while you have a “Bastion” vanguard, you can put this card into your drop to send all of your opponent’s front row rear-guards to the bottom of their deck!

This gives the deck some field control tools that you can utilise to disrupt your opponent’s offense! Of course, you’ll need to be careful about running too many copies of this card in your deck, as it may hinder the consistency of revealing grade 3 or greater cards during your drive checks!

Support for Hexaorb Sorceress

Recurring Magic, Lalarita

Recurring Magic, Lalarita” is a powerful offensive option that you can look into! After the battle that your drive check revealed a trigger while your vanguard is “Hexaorb Sorceress”, you can Counter-Blast 1 and Soul-Blast 1 to Stand one of your other rear-guards, and retire this rear-guard.

Overall, this card enhances the Hexaorb offensive strategy by introducing more multi-attack into the deck! (While it costs more than “Divine Sister, Lepisto”, Lalarita gives you the choice to Stand any of your other rear-guards.) You can attack with a high-powered rear-guard first before attacking with your vanguard to reveal triggers during your drive check. Stack those trigger effects onto that rear-guard so that Lalarita can Stand it!

Lalarita is also removed from the board after its ability is activated, so it can play around field removal decks and enable other cards to shine! (For example, “Stepmya” can be moved to boost that buffed attacker!)

Twinned Great Magic, Totohne

Twinned Great Magic, Totohne” is another strong tool that can elevate your offense and control the board! After your unit attacks, you can Counter-Blast 1 to perform all the following effects according to the trigger units that were revealed during that battle’s drive check!

If you revealed a Critical trigger, you can send one of your opponent’s rear-guards to the bottom of their deck! If you revealed a Front trigger, you can Stand one of your grade 2 or less rear-guards!

Overall, this card benefits your offense and weakens your opponent’s board when you are attentive to stack important triggers onto the top of your deck! Cards that can rearrange the top card of the deck like “Exquisite Knight, Olwein”, “Hexaorb Sorceress” and “Wish for Tomorrow” should be used in conjunction with this maximise the potential of Totohne!

A substitute to “Exquisite Knight, Olwein” and “Magic of Objective, Kakarone” is “Yearnful Magic, Esunono”! When this rear-guard attacks while your vanguard is “Hexaorb Sorceress” or “Pentagleam Sorceress”, you can discard a card from your hand to look at the top two cards of your deck. You then put up to two of them on the top of the deck and return the rest to the bottom, and give this attacker an additional +10 000 Power!

Not only does Esunono attack with great Power, it also can potentially stack triggers onto the top of the deck to heighten your offense! It’s also worth noting how this card can be used on your grade 2 turn, so you can play aggressively to pressure your opponent!

Stepmya” is an option that you can consider to heighten the offensive Power of your attacking columns! After the battle that your drive check revealed a trigger while this is on a back row rear-guard circle, you can Soul-Blast 1 to Stand this rear-guard and move it to an open back row rear-guard circle!

After you use this card to boost one of your attackers, you can move it to boost another attacker by revealing triggers from your drive check! This card works especially well with cards that can Stand themselves or other units again, as it can boost those units once more to pose a threat! (Examples of such cards are “Divine Sister, Lepisto”, “Twinned Great Magic, Totohne” and “Recurring Magic, Lalarita!”

Support for Phantom Blaster Dragon

Armor Piercing Knight, Mugain” helps to fill your board for “Phantom Blaster Dragon”! By calling this rear-guard from hand while you have a “Blaster” vanguard, you can discard a card from your hand to call up to two unit cards from the top two cards of your deck to the field as Rest!

With this, you won’t need to commit as many rear-guards from hand to pay for Phantom Blaster Dragon’s ability, so you’ll be able to conserve your hand for defensive purposes! It could also be used to activate other rear-guard on place abilities like “Darkness Maiden, Macha” and “Easerod Angel”!

Reverse Coil Knight, Nuadha

An interesting offensive option is “Reverse Coil Knight, Nuadha”! When this rear-guard attacks while there are no other rear-guards on both players’ fields, it gains an additional +5000 Power! Furthermore, it Stands again after it attacks!

Even though your board (and your opponent’s board) will be relatively empty, you can use Nuadha to still perform three attacks during your turn! By putting your trigger effects from your drive checks onto Nuadha, you can maximise its offensive potential!

Knight of Desolation, Fionnuala

Another offensive piece to be considered is “Knight of Desolation, Fionnuala”! Should there be no other units in the same column as this rear-guard, it gains +10 000 Power!

This rear-guard will be a helpful attacker that hits for optimal numbers on its own! Combined with the Power boost from Persona Ride, Fionnuala will be an effective attacker for your offense!

Unnatural Knight, Delbaeth

Unnatural Knight, Delbaeth” is a consistent offensive piece that you can rely on! If two or more rear-guards were retired for the cost of your “Blaster” card during your turn, this rear-guard gains +10 000 Power!

Since you’re going to use Phantom Blaster Dragon’s ability every turn, you can expect to activate this ability regularly! Combine this card with another grade 1 to hit for effective and optimal numbers!

Blessing of the Hell Dragon” is a potent defensive option! By playing this Blitz Order, you can give your “Blaster” vanguards a whopping +15 000 Power! On top of that, you can retire one of your rear-guards to give it an additional +15 000 Power!

Overall, this card can be used to stop an attack from your opponent right in its tracks for little to no cost! You’ll need to be careful running this card, as it can interfere with other cards in the deck that rely on unit cards over orders. (Examples of this include “Armor Piercing Knight, Mugain” and “Black Sage, Charon”.)

Support for Sylvan Horned Beast King, Magnolia

Sylvan Horned Beast Emperor, Magnolia Elder

The regal king of the beasts has attained a new level of prestige and power, becoming the true emperor of the forests! With a calm and composed nature, “Sylvan Horned Beast Emperor, Magnolia Elder” arrives on the battlefield with firm resolve to end the battle swiftly!

By riding this vanguard, you can call a card in your soul to a rear-guard circle! This ability is helpful in increasing your board presence with beneficial allies without consuming resources. Your previous vanguard rides “Sylvan Horned Beast, Charis” and “Sylvan Horned Beast, Lattice” can become rear-guards that push your offensive strategy forward! Other rear-guards that move into your soul can also be reused again! (For example, “Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon” can be called to the field again after moving into your soul during your previous turn.)

Of course, Magnolia Elder’s second ability is much more potent and powerful for the deck! Should you have one or more cards in your soul or on your rear-guard circles with “Magnolia” in their card names, all of your rear-guards can attack and intercept from the back row, and gain +5000 Power!

This card is effectively an upgrade of the base form Magnolia. While “Sylvan Horned Beast King, Magnolia” required you to pay 1 Counter-Blast and have Persona Ride active in order to maximise the back row attack strategy, you only need a “Magnolia” card on your rear-guard circles or in your soul for the full activation of your back row! Furthermore, your rear-guards are more resilient with the continuous +5000 Power buff, and your rear-guards with Intercept in your back row can provide adequate defence! The overall utility that Magnolia Elder provides is phenomenal, and Magnolia players will definitely benefit from this card!

Clipping Dragon of Soul-revolution

Clipping Dragon of Soul-revolution” is a powerful card that Magnolia and the other Stoicheia bosses can utilise for its resource generation! As long as you Alchemagic an order and play it or perform five or more attacks this turn, you can put this rear-guard into soul and Counter-Charge 1 at the end of your turn!

This powerful dragon allows you to regenerate soul and face up damage to pay for your other card abilities, but it also removes itself from the board to counter against decks that utilise removal tools for its offensive strategy! (Like Eugene and Seraph Snow.) With how easy it is to achieve five or more attacks with Magnolia, you can expect this card to always be active when you need it!

Sylvan Horned Beast, Panthero

Prowling in the lush forest swathes is the fearsome “Sylvan Horned Beast, Panthero”! By calling this rear-guard, you can Soul-Blast 1 to call a copy of this card in your drop to an open rear-guard circle!

This allows you to increase your board presence with copies of this card for low cost! Even when your opponent retires this rear-guard early in the game, you’ll be able to regain your board presence easily just by calling another copy of it.

Other than this, if your vanguard has “Magnolia” in its card name when Panthero attacks, it gains a helpful +5000 Power! Combined with Magnolia Elder’s continuous Power buff, it will become an annoying attacker alongside other beastly allies!

Sylvan Horned Beast, Girafina

An interesting grade 2 option to consider is “Sylvan Horned Beast, Girafina”! By calling this rear-guard to a back row rear-guard circle, it can gain +10 000 Power! However, it cannot be moved to other rear-guard circles for the rest of the turn.

This rear-guard will be able to put pressure on your opponent without utilising any soul or Counter-Blast, so you’ll be able to devote your resources into other cards that can increase your offensive strength!

Sylvan Horned Beast, Alvan

Don’t let the cute appearance of “Sylvan Horned Beast, Alvan” fool you! When it attacks while in the back row, your opponent must call two or more cards at the same time to guard it!

Even though this rear-guard will be attacking with relatively low Power (around 13 000 Power), it can be effective in forcing out more defensive Shield from your opponent than necessary! Your opponent will have to choose between wasting two or more cards to block this weak attack, or let the attack go through. If you ever battle Magnolia, don’t ever underestimate this adorable rear-guard! It will decimate your defenses before you know it.

Sylvan Horned Beast, Lemurea

Another powerful grade 1 attacker for Magnolia is “Sylvan Horned Beast, Lemurea”! When your other rear-guard attacks while this unit is on a front row rear-guard circle, this gets +5000 Power! You can also Counter-Blast 1 to give it another +5000 Power!

Should you have a full board of attackers, Lemurea can gain up to 20 000 Power without paying the additional Counter-Blast! If you do pay the Counter-Blast, it can become a dominant 45 000 Power attacker. Given how Magnolia Elder doesn’t use Counter-Blast for its abilities, you could dedicate more of your resources into strengthening this rear-guard’s attack to pressure your opponent easily!

Support for Mysterious Rain Spiritualist, Zorga

Roaming Prison Dragon

Roaming Prison Dragon” is a recursive option that Zorga players can look into! When you play a normal order when this card is in your drop, you can call this card to the field! By calling this card, you can either give this rear-guard a helpful +10 000 Power or a threatening Critical! However, if your normal order was Alchemagic, you can perform all of the effects!

Overall, “Roaming Prison Dragon” serves as a strong rear-guard that you can rely on for your offense! With great Power and Critical pressure, your opponent will be forced to pay attention to this attacker. It’s also worth noting how costless this card is, as it simply revives itself onto the field whenever you play a normal order or Alchemagic, allowing you to use your resources into other normal orders and attackers that can raise your offensive ceiling. (Like “Grief, Despair, and Rejection” and “Regurgitation of the Underworld”.)

Clipping Dragon of Soul-Revolution

Zorga also benefits from the generic resource generator “Clipping Dragon of Soul-Revolution”! At the end of your turn, if you Alchemagic an order and played it or performed five or more attacks this turn, you can put this rear-guard to soul and Counter-Charge 1!

As mentioned before, the regeneration of soul and face up damage is very much valued in Zorga decks as well! With how easy it is for you to Alchemagic from turn 3 onwards, this card will be extremely reliable!

Gather Upon Me, Ye Wandering Souls

An interesting Normal Order option is “Gather Upon Me, Ye Wandering Souls”! By discarding an Order card from your hand, you can give your vanguard an additional drive!

This card allows you to cycle through your deck further for more of your key pieces while simultaneously setting up your drop with Normal Order cards for Alchemagic! It definitely helps to make your vanguard attack more threatening, as it has greater potential to reveal triggers during your drive check.

One thing to note as well is that this card can be used on your grade 2 turns! As such, you can make your grade 2 vanguard “Black Tears Husk Dragon” more dangerous early in the game!

Sea Breeze Abduction

A great support for Zorga is “Sea Breeze Abduction”. When the attack that this rear-guard boosted hits a vanguard, you can bind an order card in your drop to add an order card in your drop to your hand!

Similarly to “Fairy of Tragic Love” from DBT02, you’re able to prepare for Alchemagic the following turn by fetching ideal orders (except that this time, the orders are obtained from the drop instead of the bind zone)! You could also use this to grab Blitz Orders to defend against your opponent’s attack!

Another indirect benefit that “Sea Breeze Abduction” brings to the table is that it can buff cards like “Sleeve Tugging Belle” and “Miscreant Beating”, which get stronger when there are more cards in the bind zone! (When called, “Sleeve Tugging Belle” gets stronger for each card put to the drop from the bind zone, while “Miscreant Beating” gains more Power for each order card in the bind zone.)

Fine Drink of Abolishment for Sins

A strong defensive option that you can consider is “Fine Drink of Abolishment for Sins”! By paying 1 Soul-Blast, you can draw a card and give one of your units +5000 Power for each order card with a different card name in your drop and bind zone in total!

Not only does this card cycle through your deck for more key pieces, it also buffs one of your units with defensive Power to tide through one of your opponent’s attacks! With how easy it is to set up your drop and bind zone with different Order cards, you can expect to see this card provide great defensive value as the game goes on!

Rotting Usurp Dragon

Rotting Usurp Dragon” is an interesting card that not only works well for Zorga, but also has great Premium applications! When your grade 3 or greater vanguard is placed, you can call this card in your drop to the field!

For Zorga, this provides an additional body on the field the moment you ride into your grade 3 vanguard! This can be especially useful for paying costs that require you to retire your rear-guards, and it can also serve as an attacker on the field!

On the other hand, this card also has great use in Premium! By Striding, you can already activate this card’s ability to call this card to the field! This could be particularly useful in the case of clans like Neo Nectar and Granblue, which can retire their own rear-guards for their card abilities.

An interesting application of this card is with “Wight Sailing Legion Ship, Bad Bounty”. Not only does “Rotting Usurp Dragon” call itself when you Stride Bad Bounty, it can also be called again when Bad Bounty’s ability activates to ride another grade 3! It can be used to increase the number of attacks made during that turn!

Walls Melt in the Sound of Rain

Walls Melt in the Sound of Rain” is another Normal Order option to be considered! By playing this Order, your opponent retires one of their rear-guards, and you can call a card from your drop with the same grade as the retired rear-guard!

This card is similar to “Regurgitation from the Underworld” in that it removes key rear-guards on your opponent’s field while increasing your board presence! The main distinction is that this card allows your opponent to choose a rear-guard to retire, and does not have any additional bonuses when performed with Alchemagic. However, this Normal Order can be used without any cost, so it can be an alternative to Regurgitation if your deck is already resource-intensive.

Ghost Bilk

Another Normal Order for consideration is “Ghost Bilk”! When played, you can choose two grade 2 or greater normal units from your drop and place them on top of your deck in any order! You also put this card into your soul.

This could be helpful for you to stack the deck with your key pieces, and it also helps to regenerate soul for your other card abilities!

Support for Flagship Dragon, Flagburg Dragon

Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon

Blue Artillery Dragon, Inlet Pulse Dragon” is an important piece for your Flagburg deck! After this rear-guard attacked a grade 3 or greater vanguard during the first battle of the turn, if your vanguard is “Flagship Dragon, Flagburg Dragon”, you can Soul-Blast 1 to Stand this unit!

This ability helps to increase the number of attacks made during your turn to add more pressure and further unlocks the full potential of Flagburg’s ability! Combine this with Persona Ride to make its attack more potent!

Furthemore, at the end of your turn, if you performed four or more attacks this turn, you can put this rear-guard into soul to draw a card! Not only does this replenish soul for your other card abilities, (like “Aggress Blue Dragon” and “High Rate Burst Dragon”.) it also regains your card advantage and clears your board to play against field removal cards! (For example, “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard” and “Artillery of Dust Storm, Eugene”.) This ability is especially reminiscent of the former “Coral Assault” from Aqua Force, which goes to show that this card will be very integral in this deck!

Clipping Dragon of Soul-revolution

As mentioned before, “Clipping Dragon of Soul-revolution” is an extremely important card for all Stoicheia decks, and Flagburg Dragon is a key benefactor of this card’s utility!

Simply put, this card helps to replenish soul and face up cards in your damage zone for your other card abilities while countering field removal tools! Given that the Flagburg ride line can easily perform five or more attacks with the many restanders it has access to, you’re almost always going to activate this card ability!

Heavy Strike Brave Shooter

Another offensive option to consider is “Heavy Strike Brave Shooter”! When this rear-guard attacks while your vanguard is “Flagship Dragon, Flagburg Dragon”, it gains an additional +5000 Power!

This unit will be an effective attacker for your offense! It can be paired with “High Rate Burst Dragon” to restand again after it attacked during the first battle of the turn, which can allow it to gain another +5000 Power upon attacking again! As mentioned before, Persona Ride turns will certainly allow this card to shine even more!

Advance of Great Cause

Advance of Great Cause” is a defensive option that you could consider! By playing this Blitz Order, you can give one of your “Flagship Dragon, Flagburg Dragon” on your vanguard circle or your rear-guard circle an additional +20 000 Power for that battle!

This card could be especially helpful in defending against high-powered attacks against your Flagburg Dragon vanguard! Of course, given that it is an Order card, you definitely want to manage the ratios of this card in your deck to ensure that you can consistently mount an impressive offensive wave!

Support for Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow

Aurora Fierce Princess, Seraph Purelight

Wielding the latest anti-criminal technology and sporting an ebony officer uniform, the leader of the Aurora Battle Princesses has ascended to a powerful new form! “Aurora Fierce Princess, Seraph Purelight” pierces the night to unleash real justice onto the strongest of foes!

When you ride this vanguard, you can Counter-Blast 1 and Soul-Blast 1 card with “Seraph” in its card name to force your opponent to Imprison two cards each from their hand, rear-guards, and soul in your Prison! Against unsuspecting opponents, Seraph Purelight will be able to Imprison a maximum of six cards immediately! This card can remove pesky rear-guards, reduce the opponent’s defenses and deplete their soul for their other abilities! Furthermore, increasing the number of cards in your Prison will be especially important for Seraph Purelight’s second ability!

During your turn, all of your front row units gain +5000 Power for every two of your opponent’s Imprisoned cards! They also gain an extra Critical if there are ten or more cards Imprisoned! Your attacking columns will be able to attack with even more monstrous numbers that your opponent will find very difficult to defend against! With so many cards that can increase the number of cards in your Prison, this card’s offensive capabilities are unparalleled. Seraph Purelight is definitely a card that you want to play in your deck!

Aurora Battle Princess, Suppress Gleamer

A great field building option to consider is “Aurora Battle Princess, Suppress Gleamer”. This rear-guard gains an additional +5000 Power if your vanguard has “Seraph” in its card name, so it can serve as a helpful booster. It’s worth noting that the Power gain can remain on the opponent’s turn, so it will be a bit more difficult for them to attack into this rear-guard to remove it.

Furthermore, when this rear-guard enters the field from hand while there are three or more of the opponent’s cards Imprisoned, you can search your deck for up to one copy of this card and call it to the field at no cost! If you find yourself having insufficient rear-guards on the field, this card is definitely worth looking into!

Aurora Battle Princess, Tazer Lage

Aurora Battle Princess, Tazer Lage” is another interesting tool to consider! When your opponent’s rear-guard is placed other than from hand while this rear-guard is in the front row, you can Rest that unit.

While simple in effect, this card has great potential to disrupt your opponent’s offense! It could be especially helpful in preventing a multi-attack strategy from your opponent. (perhaps cards like “Diabolos Jetbacker, Lenard and “Diabolos Returner, Deryck”.) It could also be used to deny an attack from your opponent when they call a rear-guard to their front row by releasing a card from Prison! As such, your opponent will be hard-pressed to remove this rear-guard from the field or by playing around it! (calling over the Rested rear-guard.) Either way, Tazer Luge will become an annoyance on the field that your opponent must remove in order to further their game plan.

Aurora Battle Princess, Trace Jeune

A card that has offensive and defensive capabilities is “Aurora Battle Princess, Trace Jeune”. If there are one or more of your opponent’s cards in your Prison, this rear-guard gains ‘Boost’ and can intercept from the back row!

With such relatively easy requirements, this card helps to form optimal attacking columns with your grade 3 and grade 1 units while also providing decent defense!

Aurora Battle Princess, Restraint Pianie

Aurora Battle Princess, Restraint Pianie” is a great tool that can replenish your soul easily! By calling this rear-guard, you can Soul-Charge 1 for each of your opponent’s cards imprisoned in your Prison!

With so many cards that can Imprison your opponent’s cards, it’s very easy for this card to regenerate soul for your other card abilities! Of course, be very careful to not overuse this card, especially when you have a lot of cards in your Prison (perhaps from Seraph Purelight’s ability.)

Support for Cardinal Deus, Orfist

Cardinal Draco, Masurea

Cardinal Draco, Masurea” is another powerful offensive option for Orfist players! By retiring a Shadow Army token, this rear-guard can gain +10 000 Power! Note that this ability can be used more than once per turn! This ties into the second clause of the ability, which allows this unit to gain an extra Critical if this ability was activated for the third time this turn!

Masurea has the potential to gain massive Power to become an extremely strong attacker that also has Critical pressure! It’s definitely helpful to use cards that can create your Shadow Army tokens during your main phase to maximise the offensive output of this card! (Cards like Orfist, “Cardinal Fang, Rayosia” and “Eclipsed Moonlight” are great options.)

Cardinal Draco, Culjameed

A very powerful grade 2 option for Orfist is “Cardinal Draco, Culjameed”. If your World is Dark Night or Abyssal Dark Night, this rear-guard gains ‘Boost’ and can intercept from the back row!

This card helps to strengthen your attacking columns and intensifies your defensive prowess for little to no cost!

To add on to this card’s defensive help, this guardian gains an additional +10 000 Shield if your World is Abyssal Dark Night! As such, Culjameed is effectively a 15 000 Shield defender for the majority of the game, while also having great defensive mobility! The versatility of Culjameed is definitely a sign that you should grab a copy of this immediately!

Cardinal Prima, Ractart

Another great tool for some Orfist builds is “Cardinal Prima, Ractart”! After this unit boosted a Shadow Army token, you call a Shadow Army token to this unit’s rear-guard circle as Rest!

Ractart is able to form an optimal attacking column with your Shadow Army tokens! The real strength of this card lies in its ability to generate an additional Shadow Army token! This newly formed token can help as a stronger booster on the following turn, but it can also be used to pay the cost for the ability of “Cardinal Draco, Destijade”! This card definitely makes the restand ability of Destijade a lot less costly to pull off; assuming that you used Orfist’s ability to generate three Shadow Army tokens in conjunction with Ractart, you’re able to maintain one more Shadow Army token on the field that can boost Orfist after using Destijade’s restand!

Dissolve into the Depths of Hades, Oh Evil Heart

Another great defensive option to consider is the Blitz Order “Dissolve into the Depths of Hades, Oh Evil Heart”. By paying 1 Counter-Blast, you can give one of your units +10 000 Power until the end of that battle for each of your Shadow Army tokens!

This card could potentially give one of your units a maximum of +50 000 Power! (since you can have a maximum of 5 Shadow Army tokens on the field.) This Blitz Order can effectively stop most attacks in their tracks, but you will need to ensure that you have enough Shadow Army tokens on the field for this defensive play. Cards like Ractart could be helpful in increasing the number of tokens on the board to better maximise this card’s defense!

Support for Gravidia Nordlinger

Gravidia Bacubirito

Gravidia Bacubirito” is a much needed support for the Gravidia ride line! By calling this rear-guard, you can put a Meteorite card in your drop into your Order Zone, which then allows you to set up your Order Zone with more Meteorites to maximise the destruction unleashed by “Gravidia Nordlinger”!

Other than “Neatness Meteor Shower” from DBT03, you can also put the new Meteorite “Falling Hellhazard” in your drop to the Order Zone to easily achieve the 5 Meteorites required for Nordlinger’s full ability!

Bacubirite also gains an additional +5000 Power during your turn if one of your opponent’s rear-guard’s was retired! Furthermore, it gains an extra Critical if three or more were retired! This rear-guard will be an effective attacker that can easily take advantage of the buffs from Nordlinger’s double trigger activation!

Gravidia Shergo

Another important rear-guard is “Gravidia Shergo”! By paying Soul-Blast 2, you can return up to five Meteorite cards from your drop to your deck! If one or more cards were returned, this rear-guard gains +5000 Power. If three or more were returned, it gains an additional +5000 Power; and if you were able to return five cards, it gets yet another +5000 Power buff! The maximum Power that Shergo can gain from returning Meteorites is +15 000 Power!

This rear-guard serves to recycle your Meteorite orders back into the deck, so that your other support cards (like “Gravidia Nordlinger” and “Gravidia Rlyk”) can search them out again and put them into the Order Zone. The additional Power buff also allows Shergo to be a powerful attacker that can benefit from Nordlinger’s double trigger activation!

Falling Hellhazard

Falling Hellhazard” is another important Meteorite that improves the consistency of attaining the 5 Meteorite requirement for Nordlinger’s double trigger activation! When you would count the number of Meteorite cards put from your Order Zone into your drop for the cost of your vanguard’s ability, this Meteorite is considered as two cards!

“Falling Hellhazard” is essential for quickly increasing the Meteorite count for Nordlinger’s second ability! You would normally require 5 real cards in your Order Zone; but with “Falling Hellhazard” you would need as little as 3 cards! (double Hellhazard and a single Neatness Meteor Shower) or 4 cards (single Hellhazard and three Neatness Meteor Shower) in their Order Zone.

Hellhazard also shares a similar secondary ability to “Neatness Meteor Shower”: when it is placedfrom your Order Zone into your drop, you can bind this card and retire one of your opponent’s rear-guards! Field removal remains a key identity of the deck, and this time it also helps to buff “Gravidia Bacubirite” to become a powerful attacker!

Gravidia Rylk

An interesting option to consider is “Gravidia Rylk”! When this rear-guard’s attack hits, you can put up to one Meteorite card in your deck or drop into your Order Zone! If you searched your deck, shuffle it!

Rlyk can help to accelerate your Meteorite count in your Order Zone quickly, forcing your opponent to defend against it and effectively allowing Rlyk to force out additional defensive Shield from your opponent’s hand!

Gravidia Abee

Another tool that obtains Meteorites is “Gravidia Abee”. By calling this rear-guard while your Order Zone has three or more Meteorites, you can Counter-Blast 1 to draw a card and put up to one Meteorite card in your hand into your Order Zone!

Not only does this rear-guard help to cycle through your deck for more key pieces, it also adds more Meteorites to your Order Zone! Should you consider running this card, though, you must be prepared to manage your Counter-Blast well.

Gravidia Mont Dieu

Gravidia Mont Dieu” is an interesting defensive option that you can consider if you want to last against enemy attacks! This guardian gains an additional +5000 Shield for every three Meteorite cards in your drop! Its shield values will improve naturally as the game goes on, making it an easy inclusion for the deck!

It’s important to note that “Falling Hellhazard” will not be considered as 2 cards towards this ability. It’s also recommended to not play this card together with “Gravidia Shergo”, as your Meteorite count in your drop will be diminished whenever you activate Shergo’s ability.
